Promptings This Sunday, we ll continue to explore the theme Reset. We will focus on resetting how we discern our gifts and put them to work in the service of Christ. In the Catalyst service, we ll gather around tables as Josh Beeler leads us to map and apply our assets. Both services are designed to help us discover, embrace, and use the gifts God has given us. On Sunday, November 18, Ellen Di Giosia, who serves as Senior Pastor of FBC, Jefferson City, will be our guest preacher. She will preach in the Catalyst service and we will simulcast her sermon in the Classic service. I will be preaching at FBC, Jefferson City. That s right. Ellen and I are doing an old fashioned pulpit swap. Be certain to give Ellen a taste of CBCFC hospitality! Mike Smith Many Gifts, One Spirit Many gifts, one spirit, many songs, one voice. Many reasons, one promise, many questions, one choice. O God, we pray for unity, give guidance from above. In our differences unite us in the circle of your love. O God, remind us we are not alone. Though we move on different pathways, we are walking to your throne. Help us learn to love each other, show us ways to understand. We are members of one family, growing strong by joining hands. Take our many ways of working, blend the colors of each soul Into the beauty of a rainbow, Give us life, Lord, make us whole. ~ Allen Pote Family Info HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL Lisa Purcell Hunter Kaye Osborne Todd Fairbanks Gale Eastridge THANK YOU A thank-you card has been received from Steve Speelman SYMPATHY TO Rhonda Ward in the loss of her mother MEMBERSHIP RECORD September 30-October 31, 2018 Transfer of Letter: Eddie Huffstetler Mike Roos Deceased: Paul Durham (9/30/18) Vera Henderson (10/24/18) Shirley Tolbert (10/25/18) Online Giving www.cbcfc.org/give
