PHONE: (972) 562-2601 Jeanette P. Beaty April 13, 1946 - November 23, 2008 Jeanette Pfeiffer Beaty age 62, of Carrollton, Texas passed away on November 23, 2008. She was born on April 13, 1946, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Carl and Lois Pfeiffer. On August 4, 1973 she married John R. Beaty. She grew up in Little Rock, and received a B.A. in Marketing at University of Arkansas. Jeanette enjoyed golf, bridge, gardening and entertaining. She was involved in the church Altar Guild, and The Ladies Auxiliary. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She is survived by husband John Beaty of Carrollton, Texas; daughters, Raychel Lee, Anna Finder and husband Kenny, Ruth Clevenger and husband Dale; son, John R. Beaty II and Tanja Nagels; six grandchildren; brother, Jim Pfeiffer and wife Leslie; cousins, Betsy Zentzis Lu Madru and husband Tommy, Jo P. Griffith; uncle, Dick Chudy, and numerous other family and friends. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the Church of The Holy Communion, Dallas, Texas with the Rt. Rev. Ray R. Sutton officiating. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the M.D. Anderson Cancer Research Center or to Church of the Holy Communion for their teen youth group. Memorials Jeanette will always be part of my altar guild memories at Holy Communion, particularly when we climbed on the altar to make the "special" flower arrangements. She has been in my prayers... but now is part of the treasured angels surrounding Our Lord. My prayers are now with John as he learns to live without her on this earth. DOROTHY KING, DECEMBER 1, 2008

John and family, Thank you for sharing Jeanette with me for so many years. She was a very loving and giving friend and I will miss her deeply. I pray that God will bring you peace as he certainly has given her. Her Memorial Service and Celebration of Life was very inspirational and I feel blessed to have shared it with you. BECKY DE LUNA, NOVEMBER 30, 2008 A life-long, loving, caring and devoted friend. We will miss your sweet smile, grace, loving, caring ways and concern. JOHN & DOROTHY TODD, NOVEMBER 28, 2008 Any woman who could have played such a role in developing the man who became John R. Beaty II, is an amazing woman. You will be missed deeply by those who love you, but your legacy lives on in what you built on this world. 8-7 FAMILY, NOVEMBER 28, 2008 May memories ease your sorrow and may time bring you peace. Our love and sympathy at this difficult time. TIFFANI & SEAN FLUSCHE, NOVEMBER 28, 2008 I only met you once but you made it feel like I knew you for a life time. Thanks for that found memory, and the love you showed John II all his life. BUBBA LANGE, NOVEMBER 28, 2008 When our family first entered into the Holy Communion family environment, Jeanette wrapped her arms and love around our youngest daughter as her first Sunday School teacher and made her feel welcome and special. That influence has carried that child to adulthood, and motherhood, the wife now of an Episcopal Rector. Jeannette has always meant so much to us as a family and oh, how much we, like so many have appreciated and admired her blessed talent at the altar in our old church and the inspiration she has given to her successors in Altar Guild. We pray for John and the family and know that God will give them the grace to sustain their loss, which so many of us share. LYNDALL AND CABANNE LINK, NOVEMBER 28, 2008 Jeanette, We will surely miss you and your phone calls and cards cheering us up through Jeff's recuperation. You have no idea how they mush they

comforted us and put smiles on our faces. You took me under you graceful wing as my mentor for Altar Guild, I hope you are not disappointed. There is another angel in Heaven looking down on us and hopefully smiling. We will miss you, our friend and until we meet again.. With much love. Jeff and Lynne Coleman JEFF AND LYNNE COLEMAN, NOVEMBER 26, 2008 Jeanette has been a dear friend for many years and some of my nicest Sunday mornings were when we shared a pew in our beloved church. My heartfelt sympathy to you, John--and to your whole family. We shall all miss her lovely smile and sweet demeanor. DOTTIE HATCH, NOVEMBER 26, 2008 You held me when I was scared, encouraged me when I lacked confidence, protected me with a vengeance, and loved me without question. Most of all you taught me that the greatest love of all is one of sacrifice for others. Through your love and strength I am the man I am today, and the one I continue to aspire to become. I will always keep you within my heart and cherish your memory with each day. JOHN R. BEATY II, NOVEMBER 26, 2008 Jeanette was a truly gracious lady. We know she is in a better place and is suffering no longer. She will be missed. We're not sure if we will make it to the service or not. John and family please know that our hearts and thoughts are with you. May God bless. Jerry, Jake, and Robb Lee JERRY LEE, NOVEMBER 26, 2008 Jeanette Beaty had all of the wonderful qualities a person could ever hope to have in one lifetime: She was a devoted wife; a very proud mom; a doting grandmother; an intelligent "Lady of the South"; she was quick-witted; a caring and loyal friend; a discreet confidante; and like a sister to me. She was talented, graceful, and poised in a crisis. She loved her family, her friends and her God. She enjoyed life. Words cannot express how much I will miss her wonderful spirit and the "Ya-Ya's" will never be the same without her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, John and the children during this difficult

time. May it comfort you to know that she will not be forgotten by anyone who was ever blessed with the joy of truly knowing her. PAM AND LARRY LOGAN, NOVEMBER 26, 2008 Jeanette was a truly dedicated church member and a perfectionist as director of the Altar Guild so many years. She created the most beautiful flower designs and symmetry on the altar and, especially this week, I am remembering her many spectacular Thanksgiving altar arrangements. She will be missed. My love and sympathy to John and his family. PENNY WILLIAMS, NOVEMBER 25, 2008 Jeanette was so beloved and she will be missed by so many. She was a kind and special lady. I remember she was there on our wedding day 20+ years ago as the wedding coordinator for CHC. I will never forget her warm and reassuring smile as I looked back over my shoulder at her right as I entered the church. She knew how nervous I was about such a seemingly simple act as walking down the isle. She looked at me as if to say "you can do this - you'll be fine!" It had the right affect and calmed me down enough to take that first step. Our thoughts and prayers go out to John and the Beaty faimily as we ask for God to bless and comfort you. ~Tonya and Bob Mullarkey TONYA MULLARKEY, NOVEMBER 25, 2008 Jeanette... you were a beautiful person inside and out... and how creative you were! Some of the most beautiful flower arrangements that ever graced the altar in the little old white church were created by your hands... You will be missed... AMY AND JACK BRADY, NOVEMBER 25, 2008 We will remember Jeanette as a devoted Episcopalian who knew more about the church than anyone we ever knew and whose participation went far beyond sitting in the pew in front of us. She was always there when things needed to be done, and she saw to it that they were done well. Small in size, but large in determination was Jeanette. She was a beautiful lady inside and out: generous, thoughtful, friendly, and gracious. She will be grately missed and always remembered. Sincerely, Philip and Barbara

PHILIP AND BARBARA BRAITHWAITE, NOVEMBER 25, 2008 We will miss your beautiful smile and fabulous wit. You were such a good friend. JAY & CHARLENE WOLTHAUSEN, NOVEMBER 25, 2008 Jeannette was a sweet and lovely person and will be missed. We send our sincere condolences to John and the Beatty family and wish them God speed. Please know that you are in our prayers. Dennis and Regan DENNIS J KENNEDY, NOVEMBER 25, 2008 I will miss her very much. She was a good hearted person.
