EVERYONE WHO HAS HEARD AND LEARNED FROM THE FATHER WILL COME TO YEHOSHUA Published by Sowing the Word of God December 30, 2018 John 1:1-4, 14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. Isaiah 55:10-11 For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, 11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. And the Word came down from heaven to do the will of Him who sent Him. 1
John 6:36-39, 43-48 36 But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe. 37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 43 Yehoshua therefore answered and said to them, Do not murmur among yourselves. 44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall all be taught by God. Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me. 46 Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father. 47 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. 48 I am the bread of life. Matthew 16:15-17 He said to them, But who do you say that I am? 16 Simon Peter answered and said, You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God. 17 Yehoshua answered and said to him, Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. John 12:44-46 Then Yehoshua cried out and said, He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. 45 And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. 46 I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness. Isaiah 60:1-5 Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of Yehovah is risen upon you. 2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But Yehovah will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. 3 The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising. 4 Lift up your eyes all around, and see: They all gather together, they come to you; Your sons shall come from afar, And your daughters shall be nursed at your side. 5 Then you shall see and become radiant, And your heart shall swell with joy; Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you. 2
Mark 2:13 Then He went out again by the sea; and all the multitude came to Him, and He taught them. Isaiah 60:6-9 The multitude of camels shall cover your land, The dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; All those from Sheba shall come; They shall bring gold and incense, And they shall proclaim the praises of Yehovah. 7 All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together to you, The rams of Nebaioth shall minister to you; They shall ascend with acceptance on My altar, And I will glorify the house of My glory. 8 Who are these who fly like a cloud, And like doves to their roosts? 9 Surely the coastlands shall wait for Me; And the ships of Tarshish will come first, To bring your sons from afar, Their silver and their gold with them, To the name of Yehovah your God, And to the Holy One of Israel, Because He has glorified you. John 17:1-5 Yehoshua spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, 2 as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. 3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Yehoshua Messiah whom You have sent. 4 I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. 5 And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. 3 A bruised reed He will not break, And smoking flax He will not quench; He will bring forth justice for truth. 4 He will not fail nor be discouraged, Till He has established justice in the earth; And the coastlands shall wait for His law. Matthew 3:16-17 When He had been baptized, Yehoshua came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. 17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Mark 9:7-8 And a cloud came and overshadowed them; and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is My beloved Son. Hear Him! 8 Suddenly, when they had looked around, they saw no one anymore, but only Yehoshua with themselves. Matthew 1:21-23 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Yehoshua, for He will save His people from their sins. 22 So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: 23 Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which is translated, God with us. Deuteronomy 18:15-19 Yehovah your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren. Him you shall hear, 16 according to all you desired of Yehovah your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of Yehovah my God, nor let me see this great fire anymore, lest I die. 17 And Yehovah said to me: What they have spoken is good. 18 I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. 19 And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require it of him. John 5:37-47 And the Father Himself, who sent Me, has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form. 38 But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe. 39 You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. 40 But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life. 41 I do not receive honor from men. 42 But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in you. 43 I have come in My Father s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive. 44 How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God? 45 Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses 4
you Moses, in whom you trust. 46 For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me. 47 But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words? If you are not willing to come to Yehoshua Messiah that you may have life, then you have not been taught by Yehovah. Isaiah 54:13 All your children shall be taught by Yehovah, And great shall be the peace of your children. John 6:44-45 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall all be taught by God. Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me. John 8:1-2 But Yehoshua went to the Mount of Olives. 2 Now early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him; and He sat down and taught them. Matthew 23:8-10 But you, do not be called Rabbi ; for One is your Teacher, the Messiah, and you are all brethren. 9 Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. 10 And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Messiah. He is your Teacher, hear Him! John 10:27-30 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father s hand. 30 I and My Father are one. Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: Yehovah our God, Yehovah is one! John 13:13 You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. Exodus 3:13-14 Then Moses said to God, Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they say to me, What is His name? what shall I say to them? 14 And God said to Moses, I AM WHO I AM. And He said, Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, I AM has sent me to you. 5
John 18:4-9 Then Yehoshua, knowing everything that was going to happen, went forward and asked them, Who are you looking for? 5 They answered him, Yehoshua from Nazareth. Yehoshua told them, I AM. Judas, the man who betrayed him, was standing with them. 6 When Yehoshua told them, I AM, they backed away and fell to the ground. 7 So he asked them again, Who are you looking for? They said, Yehoshua from Nazareth. 8 Yehoshua replied, I told you that I am the one, so if you are looking for me, let these men go. 9 This was to fulfill what he had said, I did not lose a single one of those you gave me. Exodus 20:18-19 Now all the people perceived the thunderings and the lightnings and the noise of the trumpet and the smoking mountain, and as they looked they trembled with fear and fell back and stood afar off. 19 And they said to Moses, You speak to us and we will listen, but let not God speak to us, lest we die. John 14:6-10 Yehoshua said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. 7 If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him. 8 Philip said to Him, Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us. 9 Yehoshua said to him, Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, Show us the Father? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.
