PARISH NEWS SUNDAY FLOWERS One bouquet at the Main Altar was donated in memory of John Turczyn by wife Elsie. The other bouquet at the Main Altar was donated in memory of Kitty Bartone by Elsie Turczyn. The bouquet at the BVM Shrine was donated in thanksgiving for Divine Mercy. MARY S TEA The Sodality will be hosting Mary s Tea today, April 29 th from noon to 2:00 p.m. in the parish hall. It is a day for all women to honor our Blessed Mother. There are no longer tickets available Mary s Tea has been sold out! Guests are reminded to bring their tea cups and to wear their hats. EUCHARISTIC ADORATION Everyone is invited to join in the all-day Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament which is offered on the last Monday of each month. Our next Eucharistic Adoration will be held tomorrow, Monday, April 30 th. The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed at 7:30 a.m. and will remain exposed for adoration until 7:30 p.m. followed by the St. Jude Novena and Benediction. The Rosary will be prayed in common at 7:00 p.m. Come and spend some time before our Lord! MONDAY ROSARY The next Monday Rosary will be held tomorrow, Monday, April 30 th at 7:00 p.m. to pray the Sorrowful Mysteries. All are welcome to join in the prayer. PRE-JORDAN Parents and godparents presenting a child for Baptism need to attend a preparation class in order to be properly informed about the meaning of the Sacrament of Baptism. The next class will be held on Wednesday, May 2 nd at 6:00 p.m. in the last classroom in the parish hall. Registration is a must. Please register in advance by calling Mrs. Coxson at 610-384-5560. We encourage all students to attend the May Procession held next Sunday, May 6 th. The last class session will be today, Sunday, April 29 th. The PREP students will sit as a class at the 10:45 a.m. Mass on Sunday, May 6 th. After Mass, the students will participate in the May Procession. The First Communion and Confirmation Classes should wear their sacramental robes. This is the last PREP class for the year. This year s program has been a smooth and terrific year. Registration forms for next year s classes (2018 2019) are now available on the tables at the church entrance ways. Early registration (before the end of June) is appreciated and strongly recommended. Your help enables us to order books and supplies early enough not to have to pay a higher fee. It will be directed by Msgr. Michael Mannion. Matt Talbot #66 Retreat will be held on May 4-6. This is a spiritual retreat for recovering alcoholics. MAY PROCESSION Sunday May 6 Our annual May Day Procession to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary will be held Sunday, May 6 th immediately after the 10:45 a.m. Mass. All our parishioners are invited to participate in this traditional observance in honor of our Lady. Sodality members, Holy Name Society members, all the Altar Servers (vested), all the children in our PREP program or attending Catholic school and this years First Communion and Confirmation class (in robes) are strongly encouraged to participate. We hope to see all the members of the parish for the procession and the crowning of Mary s statue. All 6 th through 12 th graders are invited to be in the May Procession Court. Please meet in the back of church at 10:15 a.m. for a quick rehearsal. Girls should wear their Sunday Best and boys should wear a tie and jacket. 5-206
