Afternoon meeting with guide at hotel lobby. Visiting Open-air Train Museum. Lunch in Russian specialty restaurant. Visiting the bi ggest zoo behind Urals Mountains. City centre tour with main attractions of the city, including Alexander Nevskii entrance for candle lightening. (duration 5 hours) Evening at folk centre (2 hours) followed with dinner in fine city restaurant. Transfer to hotel.
DAY 2, 31 DEC 2014 Breakfast. 11:00 - Full day activities: 3 -horses slides near Academgorodok ( 6 pax for 30 mins at the same time turn by turn), followed by lunch (direct payment) and after trip to Kolyvan village to see wooden houses. On the way the driver and guide will play on audio system Russian songs. We will print out the lyrics and everybody can sing. Also we can serve cognac in plastic glasses with lemon in the bus if acceptable. After village we r eturn to the city. Ice skating on ice stadium for 1-2 hours and transfer to hotel to get ready for New Year party. The top floor of one of the tallest building of our city. The view is amazing. At Midnight you will see great fireworks and DJ will not let you get bored until morning. DAY 3, 01 JAN 2015 AM - free to sleep 13:45 - Transfer to station with guide. Departure to Irkutsk. Train # 008 at 14.29 h, 2 nd class (купе) DAY 4, 02 JAN 2015 Arrival to Irkutsk 20.57h. Meeting with driver with sign near carriage. Transfer to Listvyanka (66 km, 1 hr) Accommodation in Krestova Pad Dinner at hotel. (champagne) DAY 5, 03 JAN 2015 Breakfast. Trip to Riding Centre in Listvyanka. You will experience Baikal Lake to the full. Haski and snowmobile riding in Siberian forest (distance - 20 km. 3 pax take 3 snowmobiles and 3 pax take 3 haski rides and travel for 10 kms, after all of them exchange "transport" and go back 10 kms. After you will enjoy fresh smoky omul fish, caviar pancakes with Russian vodka and mulled wine. After you have chance to observe beauty of winter Baikal Lake from top of the Cherky Stone. Optional: snowboarding with instructor In evening for 2 hours Russian banya with veniki and tea, swimming in Baikal Lake. Dinner at hotel.
Guests should have very warm and wide clothes, gloves, sport shoes, scarf and hat which will not be gone because of wind. If guests like speed, better to take riding from 11:00-14:00 and if they afraid speed, then better to ride in afternoon. It because of dogs, in afternoon they will be a bit tired. DAY 5, 04 JAN 2015 Breakfast. Check-out. Excursion to open-air architectural ethnographic museum Taltsi on the way to Irkutsk. Custom ceremonies, folk performance, snow fighting, lunch in Siberian Traktir what can be better! Afternoon trip to Buryat village Ust-Orda (62 kms to North-East from Irkutsk) Traditional buryat performance, mysterious shaman session and visiting loc al museum to get to know what the difference between Mongolian and Buryat ethnic groups is. Visit Datsan. Dinner at restaurant Metelitsa (with traditional food called posi ) Return to Irkutsk, accommodation in hotel Courtyard by Marriott. DAY 6, 05 JAN 2015 Breakfast. 09:30 Check-out. Meeting with guide. City tour (2 hrs). Visit Cathedral. Lunch. 13:00 - Transfer to airport for flight S7 3274 to Novosibirsk at 15.25 h Arriving at 16.05 h to Novosibirsk.
