Rev.J.D.Ross resigns at Sunset Park REV. ROSS The Rev. Jason D. Ross has resigned as pastor of the Sunset Park Baptist Church to enter the fiel4"()f full time evangelism and mission, with his home in Wilmington. The Rev. Mr. Ross announced his decision at Sunday's services. During Mr. Ross' ministry, the church here experienced growth and led the Wilmington Baptist Association last year with 56 baptisms. Mr. Ross preached the annual WBA sermon at its meeting last year. Before coming to Wilmington, Mr. Ross was pastor of the Middle River Baptist Church of Baltimore, with 2,800 members the biggest church in the Maryland Baptist State Convention. Services will be held Sunday at 11:00 A.M. and 7:30 P.M. and nightly at 7:30 P.M. through Friday night. Jason Ross is a young, dynamic, talented evangelist from Wilmington, North Carolina, where he lives with his wife, Pauline, and their three children---- Douglas, Deborah and David. He has a well balanced background as a pastor and as an evangelist. He served six years as pastor of the middle River Baptist Church, largest church in the Baptist Convention of Maryland. His last pastorate was the Sunset Park Baptist Church, Wilmington, North Carolina. In 1964, Rev. Ross preached before the Maryland Evangelism Conference, and in 1966 delivered the annual sermon before the Maryland State Convention. He served on the Southern Baptist Convention committee on Boards in 1966. During 1967~, Rev. Ross served as chairman of the Order of Business Committee at the State level. In 1969, he preached the Annual Associational Sermo for the Baltimore Associatio. He was elected President of the Pastor's Conference of tile Maryland Baptist Convention for 1969-1970. Fall Revival At. Bayboro Rev. Jason D. Ross, above, evangelist of Wilmington, will be the guest speaker during the fall Revival Services at Bayboro Baptist Church, Bayboro. The services will begin with the 11 a. m., worship service on I Sunday, October 8, and continue through Friday, October 13, I' at 7:30 o'clock nightly. Prior to the revival services each night, a special time for children, ages 6-12, and a time of prayer for ati others will be held at 7 o'clock.
