JUDGMENTS Part Two Have you ever received a chunk of money you weren t expecting? Like a bonus or an inheritance or a refund or just a blessing out of the blue? What are some of your thoughts about what to do with that money? I m going to get myself that new (car, house) whatever it is that you have been wanting. Or now we can take that vacation to (Hawaii, Bermuda) wherever it is you ve been wanting to go. But what if you didn t blow it all on yourself or selfish desires. What if you honored God and His Kingdom with it. Of course God is not about us living in poverty and having nothing, but remember His heart for the poor and needy. The widows and orphans. He does want us to work and serve Him, even with our money. I know someone who got an inheritance and he used it for the glory of God. It would be so easy to get money from someone passing away and just buy cars and houses and tv s and computers and all sorts of material things. Are you one of those people who has so overspent with what God has blessed you with that you feel you can t afford to give anything anywhere? You bought Page 1 of 17
such a big house or Page 2 of 17
Such a nice car. We live in Texas and people actually spend $ 60,000 and up on trucks like this. You are so in debt with things you have purchased here and now that you can t even give $ 5.00 to missions? Have you put yourself in a position to be the hands and the feet and the mouth of God? When someone needs a tank of gas, can you help them? Or if someone needs help on their bills or groceries or whatever can you help? Or are you living so tight with stuff you have bought, the best of everything or every single toy and new outfit for your kids but are so in debt that you cannot honor God with your money? He s not against you having stuff, but He wants to be the center of your life. He doesn t want you to be stressing about bills and not being able to support His Kingdom work. To honor God with the things He blesses us with here in this life, brings us greater rewards in heaven and stores up treasures in heaven!! 1 John 3:16-19 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid down His life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. Instead of getting big luxurious extravagant things, maybe we help feed or clothe or give shelter to someone. But whoso hath this world s good (food, money, etc in abundance), and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels (heart) of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. There are three types of rewards: A prophet s reward -receiving and believing the Word of God preached A righteous man s reward -receiving a righteous man and his works A disciple s reward -giving a cup of water, feeding, and caring for the needy Page 3 of 17
There will be degree of rewards. They will be manifested in the crowns we receive. Per Dr. David Reagan 2 Tim.4:7-8 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing. (rapture) There are five types of crowns: Page 4 of 17
The incorruptible crown (1 Cor.9:24-25) completing your race on earth. The crown of rejoicing (1 Thess: 2:19-20) usually called a soul winners crown. The crown of life. (James 1:12) overcomers/enduring temptation, martyrs receive a special crown, those suffering persecution but hanging on to their faith will receive this crown. The crown of glory (1 Peter 5:4) ministers and pastors and workers found faithful to their flock and ministry The crown of righteousness (2 Tim.4:8) those who love the appearing of the Lord, those who live righteous on earth Page 5 of 17
Oh to receive our crowns in heaven! And the Bible says we will lay our crowns at the feet of Jesus!!! Another reward will be the robes we wear. Rev.19:8 And to her (the wife of Christ) was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. Page 6 of 17
(Rev.6:11 martyred saints receive a white robe / There are some distinguishments in clothing given: Rev. 1:13, 4:4, 6:11, 7:14-15, & Rev. 19:8) There will also be degrees of ruling authority which we exercise with the Lord. Jesus will introduce us to God the Father (Rev. 3:2) **One of my favorite things to think about.** Luke 19:11-27 read **I just want to make a note here, your mansion or lack thereof, is not a reward you work for it now. You are to be laying up your treasures in heaven. So that is up to you.** THE TIMING OF THE JUDGMENTS When and where does the judgment of the redeemed take place? The Bible indicates the judgment of believers who have lived and died during the church age will occur in heaven before the Judgment Seat of Christ, immediately following the Rapture of the church. Page 7 of 17
2 Cor. 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Rev.11:18 And the nations were angry, and Thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that Thou shouldest give reward unto Thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear Thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. The Greek word for reward is mis thos and means a payment for your works. Those who are saved and martyred during the tribulation will be judged at the end of that period when they are resurrected at the Second Coming of Christ. Rev. 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Page 8 of 17
The tribulation saints who live to the end of that terrible period are another group that will be judged at the Second Coming of Jesus in the sheep and goat judgment portrayed in Matt.25:31-46 read The old testament saints will also be judged at the time of the Second Coming (Ezek.20:34-38 per Dr.David Reagan) To me Daniel is clearer on this issue. Dan.12:1-2 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. Remember last week we brought out the scriptures that show that King David will rule as vice regent under Jesus during the millennial reign. In order for that to happen, he must be raised before the millennial reign starts. Page 9 of 17
All of the unrighteous who have ever lived will be resurrected and judged at the end of the millennial reign of Jesus. THE JUDGMENT OF THE UNJUST The terrible judgment of the unrighteous is called the Great White Throne judgment. This judgment is held at God the Father s throne. Rev. 20:11-15 read this is for unbelievers and fallen angels Everyone at this judgment is damned to hell. This judgment is also referred to as the judgment of the damned. The book of life will be checked and their names will not be in it. At this judgment the wicked will also be judged for their works, this will determine the degree and level of their punishment and torment in hell. No one can be justified by their works. Eph.2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith: and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Luke 20:45-47 Then in the audience of all the people He (Jesus) said unto His disciples, Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love Page 10 of 17
greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts; which devour widows houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation. (Matt.23:14-15 is another example) Luke 10:10-12 But into whatever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say, even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the Kingdom of God is come nigh unto you. But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city. All sin is not equal in God s eyes. When we hear the saying, sin is sin. That is true, because all sin separates from God. However, all sin is not equal in the eyes of God. Proverbs 6:16-19 lists seven sins that the Lord hates, including hands that shed innocent blood. And the Bible makes it very clear that idolatry is a sin that is especially heinous in the eyes of God. Exod.20:3-5 Thou shalt have no other gods before Me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me. Because God considers some sins worse than others, there will be degrees of punishment and these degrees will be specified at the Great White Throne judgment. Page 11 of 17
Rev. 22:12 And, behold, I (Jesus) come quickly; and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as His work shall be. Closing.. Last week in closing I talked about heaven and Jesus and that He is not a task master. This week I want to discuss the other choice, satan. He s worse than any boss you ever had that you hated, worse than anyone who ever tormented you, worse than anyone who ever abused you Page 12 of 17
he is the spirit behind all the bad things he causes evil people to do the things they do because he has them blinded to the truth. He s behind the abortion clinics, he s behind the cloning centers, he s behind incest and rape, he s behind remote torture with DEW (directed energy weapons), he s behind the aliens/demons trying to destroy humans by tampering with our DNA and sacrificing us and eating us. He s behind the prideful attitudes of the elite/illuminati who want to kill us to depopulate the planet. Page 13 of 17
If you think it is cool to serve him because you like getting negative attention or people starring at you or getting a rise out of people or just like being rebellious and a being known as a bad girl or a bad guy, guess what, there s not anyone in hell to notice because they are all screaming and crying out in pain just like you will be. And let us not forget that his sin was pride, Page 14 of 17
Page 15 of 17
prideful people will be burning in hell too if they don t R E P E N T. You will stand before Jesus Christ and be judged. Do you know what judgment you will be at? Do you know that the Bible says, Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord? This means Hitler, Obama, Queen Elizabeth and every vile person who has ever lived will one day make the confession of Jesus Lordship. You will too. Have you bowed your knee to Him? Heb. 9:28 Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him. Page 16 of 17
Are you eagerly awaiting Him?? Prayer Dr. David R. Reagan s teaching: Resurrections and Judgments https://www.raptureready.com/featured/reagan/dr8.html Perry Stone teaching Breaking the Apocalypse Code Page 17 of 17
