The Resurrection for Beginners Before I start this Message on the Resurrection for Beginners I would like to ask you the listener or reader of this Message some questions? Have you ever seen a Fruit Picker go out and pick the Oranges off of a tree when they first begin to form? Have you ever seen a Fruit Picker go out and pick the Apples off of a tree when they first begin to form? Have you ever seen a Fruit Picker go out and pick the Peaches off of a tree when they first begin to flower? Have you ever seen a Farmer go out and Harvest the Wheat before the grain begins to form? Have you ever seen a Farmer plant seed of Wheat and then never water the Wheat as it grows? Have you ever seen the farmer go out and pull up all the weeds and burn while the Crop is still growing? The answer to all of the questions would be No! The Farmer always waters the soil and will never Harvest the Fruit until it comes into its fullness, it is after the Harvest of the Fruit that the tares are burned. So it is with the Harvest that God is waiting for. God will not Harvest the Fruit until the whole crop comes to fullness. This Message is about that Harvest that takes place and it is the Resurrection of Gods Precious Fruit. It is the Resurrection of Life and the Just, the Children of Resurrection and of God. James understands the Coming of Jesus Christ very well but he also understands that God is waiting patiently for the fruit, look with me in James 5:7-8. Jas 5:7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Jas 5:8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. I do not hear and see many Preachers or Teachers repeating what James said word for word today! All I seem to hear is that the rapture can happen at any second, or Jesus can come at any second, or we are out of here and the rest will suffer the 7 Year Tribulation. James tells us the Truth and reveals to us the Heart of God. We MUST be patient for the Coming of Jesus to take place, the reason for that is as follows: God the Husbandman is waiting for the Precious Fruit of the earth.
God has LONG Patience for the Precious Fruit. God is waiting for the Precious Fruit to receive the Early Rain AND the Latter Rain. Many think today that because we are now saved God MUST come, how selfish we can be? Imagine if you were at sea and the boat began to sink, you are all trying to survive in the ocean and suddenly a ship comes to rescue all of you, but halfway through rescuing the people the Ship with plenty of room simply stops rescuing and begins to sail away. How cruel would that be? God is not like that God is waiting for the Precious Fruit of the earth to come to its Fullness. Do you agree with James? I Hope you do. There is one very clear Truth that James reveals to you and I and that is that the Coming of Jesus Christ is when that Precious Fruit of the Earth will be Harvested. It will be One Harvest only of the Precious Fruit of the earth. Jesus also stated the exact same Truth as James! Jesus stated that the Believers in God are Wheat and the children of the world are Tares, Jesus made it very clear that the Wheat and tares MUST grow together until the Wheat is ripe. Then the Harvest will take place. Look with me in Matthew 13:29-30 Mat 13:29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Mat 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. Jesus makes it very clear to you and I, He will not do anything with the Tares until the Wheat is ripe, both must grow together until the Harvest. The Disciples were amazed by this Parable about the Wheat and they came to Jesus and asked Jesus to explain the Parable to them. Jesus explains the Parable very clearly to them and to you and I as follows: The Sower of the Good Seed is Jesus The Field is the World The Good Seed is the Children of the Kingdom The Tares are the Children of the wicked one Satan The Enemy that sows the Tares is satan
The Harvest is the End of the Age The Reapers are the Angels Jesus makes it very clear to you and I, the Harvest will take place at the End of the Age and Jesus will use His Angels to Reap the Wheat. There is One Harvest and it is at the End of this Age. Jesus also states that He will send His Angels and His Angels will also gather out of His Kingdom all that Offend and do Iniquity. It is True, when Jesus comes to His Kingdom of Israel and establishes His Throne in Jerusalem He will gather all out of His Kingdom in Israel all that offend and do iniquity. No Sin will exist in His Kingdom of Israel while Jesus Reigns over the Kings and Nations of the earth for 1000 Years. The Righteous shall shine forth as the Sun in the Kingdom of their Father. Jesus could not make it any clearer to you and I, One Harvest of the Wheat and it will be at the End of the Age. Look with me at the Verses in Matthew 13:37-43 Mat 13:37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; Mat 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; Mat 13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. Mat 13:40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. Mat 13:41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; Mat 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Mat 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. Do you agree with Jesus? I Hope you and I do! Do you know that Jesus actually talked about the Angels gathering us together in Matthew 24? Yes He did. In Matthew 24:30-31 Jesus said that the Sign of the Son of man will appear in Heaven and THEN He shall SEND His Angels with a Great Sound of a Trumpet and gather together His Elect from the four winds from one end of Heaven to the other.
Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. In Mark 13:27 Jesus states that His Angels will gather all His Elect from the Farthest part of the Earth to the farthest part of Heaven. Mar 13:27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. That is one Big Harvest where all the Elect from Heaven and from earth meet to Gather together to Jesus as He is seen above the earth, the Angels are bringing them all to meet Jesus for the First time in History. That is One Big Harvest and it happens when Jesus descends and at the sound of a Trumpet. Jesus said that the Harvest will take place at the End of the Age! Do you know that Jesus talked about this period of time with His Disciples? Yes Jesus did and Jesus said that it is the Resurrection that takes place at the End of the Age. The Sadducees are a people that do not believe in the resurrection and one day they approached Jesus and asked him a question about the resurrection, this story can be found in Matthew 22:23-32. Jesus answered their question very clearly by saying that in the Resurrection the Resurrected will not marry and will not give in Marriage as they are as Angels of God. Mat 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. Mat 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. Mat 22:31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, Mat 22:32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. Luke recorded more of this same conversation of Jesus and added more as follows: Jesus said that the Children of this Age marry and are given in Marriage. BUT they that are accounted Worthy to OBTAIN the next Age and the Resurrection of the Dead do NOT Marry and are not given in Marriage. They cannot die anymore. They are equal unto the Angels. They are Children of God. They are Children of the Resurrection.
Luk 20:34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: Luk 20:35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: Luk 20:36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. Jesus with His own mouth has told us that the Resurrection of the Dead will take place at the End of the Age and those found Worthy to be in that New Age will have a Resurrected and Immortal Body that CANNOT die and they will be called Children of God and Children of the Resurrection. The Harvest at the End of the Age is the Resurrection of those in God at the End of the Age, The Wheat are called the Children of God and the Children of the Resurrection! Do you and I believe what Jesus states so clearly? I Hope we do! What Jesus states is True and He also confirms this in John, Jesus tells us that whoever Drinks His Blood and Eats of His Flesh has Eternal Life and He will Raise us up at the Last Day. Yes! That is you and I and every other Believer in God from Creation. The Last Day is the Last Day of this Age when the Wheat is Harvested and the Resurrection takes place, you can see this in John 6:39,40,44,54 and 11:24. Joh_6:39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. Joh_6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. Joh_6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. Joh_6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. Joh_11:24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Jesus also called that same Last Day and the New Age as being the Regeneration, it is the Day when Jesus will sit on His Throne on Earth and His 12 Disciples will also sit on their 12 Thrones Judging the 12 Tribes of Israel. Praise God we will be sitting on our Thrones with God as well. Mat_19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. Jesus is going to Recompense us as well on that Day of Resurrection at the Last Day, Jesus calls that Resurrection the Resurrection of the Just as recorded in Luke 14:14.
We shall be blessed and Recompensed at the Resurrection of the Just. Luk_14:14 And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just. Jesus only ever taught of Two Resurrections and that is First the Resurrection of Life and Last the Resurrection of Damnation. Joh_5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. Jesus also called the Resurrection of Life as being the Resurrection of the Just and he also called the Resurrection of Damnation as being the Resurrection of the unjust. Did you know that Paul also taught the same Doctrine on the resurrection as Jesus? Yes Paul taught Two Resurrections. Paul taught the Resurrection of the Just and also the Unjust, two resurrections and in that Order. Act_24:15 And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust. Paul s desire was to be in that Harvest that takes place at the End of the Age, he wanted to attain to be in the Resurrection of the Dead. Php_3:11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. Paul knew all about the Resurrection of the Dead and knew that there is an Order to the Resurrection of the Dead, he talks about this in 1 Corinthians 15. Jesus First to be raised Immortal And Later at His Coming all in Christ and God will be Resurrected from the dead and those alive in Christ will have their Bodies changed to Immortal. 1Co_15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. Paul knew that Jesus will bring with Him all the Saints that rest in Him. 1Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. This is why Paul wants us to establish our Hearts in Holiness so that we will be ready on that day when Jesus descends with His saints to meet us and gather us together.
1Th_3:13 To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints. All this will take place when the Trumpet sounds at the End of the Age, at the Harvest of Wheat, at the Last Day just as Jesus said. It is at the Coming of Jesus Christ that the Resurrection will take place. Jesus even tells us in Revelations 20 when the First Resurrection takes place and when the Last Resurrection takes place. Praise God we will be in that First Resurrection. Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. Do you want to be in that First Resurrection and seated on the Thrones with Jesus? I do. Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. Praise God we will be in that First Resurrection. Praise God we will meet with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the Kingdom of God and many shall come from all directions to sit in the Kingdom of God. Luk 13:28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. Luk 13:29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. Luk 13:30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last. The Wedding will finally take place.
Mat 22:9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. Mat 22:10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. Mat 22:11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: Mat 22:12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Mat 22:13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Mat 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen. I Hope you are Blessed by this simple but Scriptural Message on the Resurrection.
