I want to thank each and every one of you for all the prayers, loving thoughts, healing and good wishes as I traverse my way through this healing process. For those of you who don't know, I have been diagnosed with follicular lymphoma and will be starting treatment this week. Throughout these past three weeks, I have had the blessed opportunity to become vulnerable, to open my heart to receive all of your love, to feel the humility of that love and to allow myself the grace of living this life. Funny thing about finding out that I am sick - it makes me want to live even more! It has given me a renewed sense of the great honor to have life, to realize its value and my value with it. I have gone through the gamut of emotions not knowing what I had, not knowing if I would live, not knowing my chances. I have been blessed in that this particular lymphoma has a very high cure rate and I do believe that, with your continued prayers and love and with my belief in myself, I will heal on a deeper level and live an even more authentic life than before. As a child, I used to wonder what I was doing here, I mused about the plan that God must have for me and I knew on some level that there was something greater going on that I could comprehend. This gift that I have been given has shown me that I am just beginning to understand who I am, the depth of the connection between my heart and my soul and the dedication that it takes to truly live an awakened life. It is time for us all to wake up to our deepest longings, to understand our importance in this Universe, to share our lives with love and compassion and to make a change in ourselves so that we can make a change in the world. You are all great blessings to the Universe and with your help, we can shift to a more heart, spirit, soul based world.
