Matt. 28:19 20. PEF International Team Member - Rev. Paddy Cook October 2008 Croatia & Serbia It was a fascinating experience being with President & Mrs. Joey Pipa in Croatia and Serbia. Dr. Pipa delivered a weeks lectures from his book, The Westminster Confession of Faith Study Book, A Study Guide for Churches. Dr. Pipa s book was translated into Croatian for the lectures. That project was overseen by Dr. Jasmin. Dr. P. preached 3 times in the historic church of Tordinci Croatia, which included the Synod Ordination Service, where Pastor Nenard and Pastor Jadran were ordained, he also traveled to and preached in Belgrade, Serbia. Jasmin is a dear brother in a lonely role of pastor in training. He has no immediate family, parents or brothers and sisters. His passion is to be used by God to serve his fellow believers and to be equipped as a minister of the gospel. Pray much for our dear brother Jasmin! An instant friendship developed with Jasmin K. in Zagreb. We witnessed around Zagreb. Here in a Sports Bar with a long, lively and respectful conversation, which ended between us and a retired University Prof. of Psychology You keep saying my God is different. Who is your God? I don t know? Now that is a problem!

Pray, and pray more, that God will establish this young church as a pillar of Truth in this historic region.

Not the best photograph, but the most focused and fruitful conversation of the trip in my opinion lasting around 120 minutes. These men worked for a company with a web site, available in many Languages. Miroslav Viera Pastor Peter ZORAN ZORAN S Colleague Pray for Zoran, who was drawn among other considerations to the church in Beograd, Serbia with a personal invitation, coinciding with our international preacher Dr. Pipa. He is the Balkan Regional Director of a company with a web site available in many languages. He could sell the ice to Eskimos that they were standing on. When he realized we were not looking for extra work, he displayed a genuine and thoughtful interest in searching after God. As an Orthodox Serbian we had to clearly tell him that in itself, that was not evidence of his salvation and that it was apparent that his eternal destination was hell. The fact that he invited us out for a drink and walked off without paying we would love to think he was deeply troubled in his soul.
