Amen Large print bulletins are available and children s bulletins are available on the table in the Narthex. A nursery is available for infants up to 5 years of age.

Those who are able are invited to stand. PRELUDE The Stranger of Galilea Susanna Keeney LIFE OF THE CONGREGATION LET US WORSHIP GOD TOGETHER T Moment of silence to prepare your hearts for worship SONG OF DEVOTION (hymnal & screen) (remain seated) #340 Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus CALL TO WORSHIP (Psalm 27:1, 4) Leader: The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear? People: The Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid? Leader: One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: People: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in His temple. Leader: Teach me Your way, Lord; lead me in a straight path People: I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. INVOCATION Leader: Almighty God, fill us with Your Spirit and guide our footsteps upon Your path. Guard us from the diversions and detours of the evil one. Enable our lives to give You glory and praise. In Jesus name we pray. Amen SONGS OF PRAISE (hymnal, insert & screen) #542 My Life Is In You, Lord In Christ Alone CALL TO CONFESSION (Psalm 25:1-7) Leader: In You, Lord my God, I put my trust. I trust in You; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me. No one who hopes in You will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause. Show me Your ways, Lord, teach me Your paths. Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long. Remember, Lord, Your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to Your love remember me, for You, Lord, are good.

Let us turn from our sinful ways through the confession of our sin in silent prayer. SILENT PRAYER PRAYER OF CONFESSION Unison: Holy God, we confess that our path wanders around this world. Sometimes we are with You and sometimes we follow the crowd. Forgive us for choosing the wide road that leads to destruction. Guide us back to Your narrow way and strengthen us to journey toward life upon it. In Jesus name we pray. Amen ASSURANCE OF PARDON (Psalm 1:1-6) Leader: Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on His law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither-- whatever they do prospers. Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. Therefore, the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction. Sisters and brothers in Christ, believe the good news: you are forgiven. AFFIRMATION OF FAITH The Apostles Creed Unison: I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
