BAPTISMS English Baptisms are the 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd and 4 th Saturday of the month at 6:00p.m. Please contact the parish office to schedule the baptism. The parents and sponsors must take a baptismal preparation class. Baptismal preparation classes are offered the 3 rd Saturday of each month at10:00 a.m. in the old white church in english. Please call the parish office to register. Baptismal preparation for children ages 7 to 14 is handled in the Faith Formation Program. GROUP QUINCE AÑOS The traditional Quinceañera Mass will be celebrated three (3) times a year as a group. The family must be registered members at St Anthony and must contact the parish office to schedule a meeting with the Quinceañera consultant to determine if the young lady has fulfilled the requirements to celebrate the traditional Mass. The Quinceañera must be registered and attending Faith Formation classes at St Anthony one year prior to the celebration and continue the classes through the 12th grade. Our parish will be hosting the Faces of Mercy 2016 Catholic Conference 4 Moms. It will be right here in our parish on February 20th from 8:30am to 3:30pm. We will watch Jennifer Fulwiler live-streamed, watch other videos from popular speakers prepared especially for moms for this event, participate in discussion groups, and pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet together with moms from all over the world. High School men grades 9-12 who are considering a vocation to the diocesan priesthood are invited to attend this Saint Andrew Dinner. This event is a great opportunity for discerners to hear from Bishop Deshotel, priests and seminarians of our diocese. The next Safe Environment training class will be held on Tuesday, February 23 @ 7pm in the choir room in Fr. Pondant Hall. This is offered for those who need to update their training and also for those who wish to volunteer for the first time. To volunteer, you must be registered for at least 6 months in our parish. Day of Retreat for Persons with Disabilities and Caregivers Deacon John O Leary and Deacon Charlie Stump will conduct a Day of Retreat titled Embracing the Face of Mercy, for Persons with Disabilities and Caregivers on Saturday, February 20th, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 3905 Hickox Road in Rowlett from 9:30 am until 2:30 pm. A light breakfast and luncheon will be served. There will be additional retreat type activities for persons with special needs and siblings in an adjacent room.
