CHILDREN S CHURCH JANUARY 2019 LESSON PLAN January 6, 2019 1. I Am Rice and Safety Pens We will blindfold the child and place a handful of dry rice mixed with small safety pins in their hand. They will have 15 seconds to guess how many they have in their hand. The number of safety pins in their hand is the number of I ams they will say with three being the maximum. We obey God, honor God, and follow His Word. This is the best way to get our spirit stirred. (Bro. Misael) e. We will separate the children into three or four teams. We will have a start and turnaround line. A child from each team will have to carry an object to the far line and back. The next child will have to carry that same item, plus one more, etc. When each child has gone, they will receive a word and work together to put the power verse in order. We will tape a cup to the floor on its side and have the children blow a ping pong ball with a paper towel roll (something similar) from one side of the room to where the cup is taped. When the child gets the ping pong ball in the cup, they draw a word. Once each child has gone once or all of the words are received, they will work together to put the power verse in order. January 20, 2019 1. I am Play Dough We will have 3 to 4 children build whatever the helper calls out. They will have 30 to 45 seconds to complete their sculpture. The maker of the sculpture that looks closest to what was called out will say two I Ams and the others will say one I Am. If our life is one of worship, He leads and guides us. g. When we worship God with our life, others around us can see.
