Dividing Soul and Spirit Heb 4:12 I am talking here of the un-redeemed soul, also referred to as the fesh in the scriptures. (AMP) For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart. John 3:6 That which is born of the fesh is fesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Rom 8:7&8 The mind set on the fesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, and those who are in the fesh cannot please God. If we have not actively divided our soul and our spirit, we will still be living in a place of bondage. We need to take authority over soul and cause it to come into submission to our spirit. We need to connect our spirit with Holy Spirit to enable Him to feed our spirit and thereby our soul to come into alignment with heaven. Blessing your Spirit By an act of my will today, I choose to speak to my soul and I command you to come into submission to and obedience to my spirit. I call my spirit to attention, and I bless my spirit to come into maturity in line with my character. I activate my will and I choose to disregard the slave-master lies and accusations that I have believed in my soul. I bless my spirit to connect now with the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit please show me in some tangible way how you connect with my spirit. I bless my spirit to be fed by the Holy Spirit to release truth into my spirit which will permeate my soul with adequacy instead of inadequacy. Holy Spirit I invite you to erase from my scroll anything I have written on it. Holy Spirit I invite you write anything on my scroll you choose to.
