حج HAJJ When the 8 th of Zul Hijjah approaches start preparing for Hajj.
Ihraam 1. Remove unwanted hair. 2. Clip nails. 3. Make Ghusl. 4. Wear Ihraam. Women must cover their whole head. 5. Read two Raka ats. First Raka at Surah Kaafirun. Second Raka at Surah Ikhlaas. 6. Make intention for Hajj & read Talbiyyah.
Intention for Hajj Allahumma inni ureedul Hajja Allahumma inni ureedul Hajja fayassirhu lee wa taqabbalhu minnee Oh Allah, I make intention for Hajj. Therefore make it easy for me and accept it from me.
Things Forbidden in Ihraam 1. Use of perfume, fragrances, scented soaps, shampoo, scented tissues. 2. Cut, comb, pluck or trim hair or cut nails. 3. Cover the face such that cloth touches the face. 4. Indulge in Halaal desires. 5. Argue, quarrel, fight or swear. 6. To commit any sin.
First Day of Hajj 8 th Zul Hijjah Things to do before Fajr: 1. Ghusl 2. Wear Ihraam 3. Read two Raka ats 4. Intention for Hajj 5. Read Talbiyyah Leave for Mina after Fajr What to do in Mina: Read 5 Salaats: 1. Zuhr 2. Asr 3. Maghrib 4. Isha 5. Fajr (9 th Zul Hijjah) Read Quran Read Talbiyyah Zikr & Dua Nafil Salaat Feed people What NOT to do: 1. Argue 2. Fight 3. Wordly talk 4. Sin
Second Day of Hajj 9 th Zul Hijjah After sunrise leave Mina for Arafah. Wuqoof of Arafah lasts from Zawal until Sunset. What to do in Arafah: 1. Pray Zuhr and Asr in your tent in their own time. 2. Spend most of the afternoon standing making dua facing the Qiblah. 3. Read Talbiyyah 4. Do Zikr 5. Read Quran After Sunset without praying Maghrib leave for Muzdalifah.
Baihaqi, ad-durr al-manthur
Second Night of Hajj Perform Maghrib and Isha together in Muzdalifah. What to do in Muzdalifah: 1. Do Zikr. 2. Make Dua. 3. Read Talbiyyah. 4. Pray Nafl Salaah. 5. Collect 70 pebbles for Jamaraat. 6. After reading Fajr stand making dua facing Qiblah. Leave for Mina after sunrise.
Third Day of Hajj 10 th Zul Hijjah 1. Rami Jamara e Aqabah 2. Nahr/Qurbani 4. Tawaaf e Ziyarah 3. Halq/Qasr What to do: 1. Pelt Jamara e Aqabah with 7 pebbles. 2. Do Nahr (Qurbani). 3. Halq or Qasr (cut your hair). 4. Remove Ihraam. 5. Go to Makkah and do Tawaaf e Ziyarah. 6. Make Sa ee (if not done before). 7. Return to Mina. 5. Sa ee NOTE: Sequence is imperative.
Rami Jamarat 1.These pillars mark the places Shaitan appeared before Prophet Ibrahim (as). 2.Throw the pebbles one by one. 3.Throw that they fall to the root of the pillars. 4.Hold each pebble between thumb and index finger of the right hand and raise arm to such an extent that the whiteness of the armpit becomes visible. 5.Reading of Talbiyyah stops with throwing the first pebble.

Dua for Rami
Nahr - Qurbani 1. Dam e Shukr is wajib on every person performing Hajj Qiran / Tamattu. 2. It must be done before sunset of the 12 th Zul Hijjah. 3. One must have the intention that one s Qurbani is Dam e Shukr. 4. If a person is a Muqeem then he must also do Udhiya, the annual Qurbani (sacrifice).
Halq/Qasr Halq means to shave the entire head. Qasr means to trim the hair of the head by at least one inch. Halq is much more preferable. If one does not have hair he must still pass a razor over his head. Women should trim an inch of all their hair. It is not permissible for them to shave or trim excessively. They should cut their hair in a place of seclusion.
Fourth Day of Hajj 11 th Zul Hijjah Jamara e Aqabah Jamara e Wusta Jamara e Sughra Make Dua Make Dua 3 2 1 What to do: 1.After Zawal pelt the three Jamaras with 7 pebbles each. 2.Return to your camp and spend the night in Ibadat.
Fifth Day of Hajj 12 th Zul Hijjah Jamara e Aqabah Jamara e Wusta Jamara e Sughra Make Dua Make Dua 3 2 1 What to do: 1.After Zawal pelt the three Jamaras with 7 pebbles each. 2.Return to Makkah before sunset. If you don t return to Makkah before Subh e Sadiq you will have to stay another day in Mina.
Hajj Is Finished All praise be to Allah that good works have been accomplished through his bounty. During the rest of your stay in Makkah engage in Ibadat and Dua. The best form of Ibadat in Makkah is Tawaaf. Make Tawbah and give some Sadaqah for any possible shortcomings during Hajj. Before leaving Makkah it is Wajib to perform Tawaaf e Wida.
