Bringing Incredible Change Into Your Life 1. The Dawning of a new day. You must realize a new day is beginning to break forth. The revelation of a new day must become clearer and clearer (Gen 32:24-26) It must inspire you to become part of it. The new day requires a new people who are willing to volunteer freely in the day of His power (Psalms 110:3). Unfortunately many do not know how to prepare themselves. They need to be prepared by the messenger of the Word. (John 1:6-8, 29-34) Those who fail to move from the current move to this new move will be sidelines and side stepped (Jn 4:1) The messengers of the new day will have the relevant message, dominant anointing and the power to proclaim the favorable time for these believers to cross over. Moses had the message of the Passover. Those who participated in it, they crossed over from captivity to freedom from bondage. Joshua had a clear message of crossing over into the Promised Land. The now direction and message of Gilgal proved that he was not just a leader in war but also a father of the nation. Through the message of circumcision, he brought them into covenant, so that the people can inherit the Promised Land. John the Baptist had a message and also an administration through the waters of baptism to point out the Lamb of God. 2
In every new move, there is the leader that God appoints and anoints. In every new move, there is a clear message calling the people to God and His purpose. In every new move, we can go to the next level in our stature. In every new move, some will stay behind, some will move forward, others will resist it. In every new move, different dimensions of manifestation will take center stage, meeting the needs of the people, aligning the people and empowering them to participate as the day of His power has fully come. It is at this point that we have to make a choice to obey and move forward to stay and hold on or to resist it or exit by non participation and die in the wilderness. The resistors are liken to those who abstain from voting or of those who spoil the votes in protest, thereby making the election ineffective. 2. The Decision towards purpose and destiny We must be fully persuaded that this is the way we are to go. Every major decision affects not only our lives but everyone connected to it. We must be conscientious that people we love will be affected by any unilateral decision we make. There must be proper consensus of the corporate purpose and destiny for the whole team. We must not violate loyalty, trust and the chain of command. We must not usurp Kingdom authority for personal agenda. 3
Bad decisions made at a high level can bring the greatest of men into a vulnerable position, giving opportunity to the enemy to dismantle the team and to bring the move of God into disrepute. We must not fall into the trap of being a people pleaser like Barnabas in taking John Mark for the Apostolic Mission. 37 Barnabas wanted to take John, called Mark, along with them also. 38 But Paul kept insisting that they should not take him along who had deserted them [u] in Pamphylia and had not gone with them to the work. 39 And there occurred such a sharp disagreement that they separated from one another, and Barnabas took Mark with him and sailed away to Cyprus. 40 But Paul chose Silas and left, being committed by the brethren to the grace of the Lord. 41 And he was traveling through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches. Acts 15:37-41 3. Be Driven by passion We must be passionate to align our life and lifestyle to the predetermined future, role and function. We must see the ideal and preferred future and become inspired by its call on our lives. If we are not driven by passion, we will lose our zeal in the course of the journey. Passion will take us further than the decision we have made before. It s power is more than words. Passion will take us to the place called finish. Passion is what covers our fears and empower us to live with courage. 4
These inner stirrings of the Holy Spirit will energize us so that we are driven by spiritual strength and energy. Not by might, or power but My Spirit says the Lord. The latent power of God s Word wired with faith will make a way in the wilderness. Passion is contagious as it will not only inspire your spirit but charge the spirit atmosphere and the spirit of righteous men. It will distinguish and set you apart like Jehu from all the other captains gathered in the room. Those with passion will ride furiously to execute vengeance on the works of the enemy. Passion is the political will of the spiritual Kingdom that is so badly needed today. 4. Develop spirit dimension to break personal limitations. We must move from the realm of the ordinary to the extra-ordinary and live our life above the natural. (Acts 19:11-12) We must break our own limitations so that we are advancing forward continually and consistently (Romans 8:6, 7:24-25). We must see the reality of the Holy Spirit s demonstration of power in a changed life. The Holy Spirit must be living in us and dwelling through us so that we are always living in the Spirit. We can then be free to live by the law of the Spirit of Life, which sets us free from the law of sin and death (Rom 8:2) 5
We must not allow the spirit of fear to lead us back into slavery. The spirit of adoption will get us closer well connected in communion with God (Rom 8:14-16,29,30). This will ensure we mature as sons and become partakers of the spiritual position we have in Christ in the heavenlies (Eph 1:20-23). He who is joined to the Lord is in one spirit with Christ (1 Cor. 6:16,17,19) Together we are seated in the heavenly places far above all rule, power and principalities. Our ways, our words and our sense of worth must not be conflicting with God s. By this we can identify a stronghold that needs to be dismantled and destroyed. 5. Dealing with difficult people In our pursuit for personal consecration, church reformation and city transformation we will encounter different types of people that can drain the spiritual, mental and emotional energy out, forcing us to become depressed; wallowing in the negatives! (Rom 8:37-39). It can create restlessness and oppression on our mind and emotions. Our mind and our emotions can become intimidated and this can conform us to a grasshopper mentality. We need to handle these pressures wisely, graciously and immediately. These attacks must not be seen as being personal but as a targeted one to destroy the seed of Christ that is in you, who is an overcoming seed (2 Cor. 4:7-10). We must be at peace with all men. Without this grace and sanctification, we will not be able to see the Lord (Heb 12:14,15). 6
A root of bitterness can spring out and by it many can become defiled by its venom. We must relate honorably by the accurate rules of engagement based on the absolutes established in God s Word (James 2:8,9,12, Col 2:1-4). We must not fail to live in righteousness. We must walk far above anything that has an appearance of evil, but shine as light into a dark world (Eph 2:13-19). Resolving people conflicts is a skill that this emerging generation of leaders must learn to be graced in. We are going to meet all kinds of characters, personalities and abnormalities in our pursuit towards our destiny. We must find the grace of God to be quick to forgive, carry the wisdom to speak truth to power, and governance to the lawless. Living, Giving, Loving and Thanksgiving are expressions of God living in an open heart. 7
