I am so sorry for your loss. NOON MASS: This is our special Mass for College udents. 2. I wish I had e right words; ju know I care. 3. A MIDSUMMER NIGHT S MARE Each summer we always run low in our checking account. People are away on holidays, some donors have moved away, new visitors haven t yet committed. The grant from e Archdiocese for e Newman Miniry always comes in e Fall...so for several mons we have to pay e cos for at miniry out of parish funds. If any of you would be able to help us out...between e gas and electric bill as Moer Angelica used to say... Faer Mayo, e Staff and e Finance Council would be grateful. Thank you! SOMEONE IN GRIEF 5. My favorite memory of your loved one is... 6. I am always ju a phone call away. 7. Give a hug inead of saying someing. 8. We all need help at times like is. I am here for you 9. I am usually up early or late if you need anying. 10. Say noing; ju be wi e person Many of us have said "e be" and "e wor." We meant no harm. In fact, we were trying to comfort. A grieving person may say one of "e wor" about emselves, and it's okay. It may even make sense for a member of e clergy to say, "He is in a better place," when someone comes to em for guidance, whereas an acquaintance saying it may not help. By David Kessler The Wor Things to Say to Someone in Grief 1. At lea she lived a long life; many people die young. 2. He is in a better place. 3. She brought is on herself. 4. There is a reason for everying. 5. Aren't you over him yet? He has been dead for a while now. 6. You can have anoer child ill. 7. She was such a good person God wanted her to be wi him. 8. I know how you feel. 9. She did what she came here to d & it was her time to go. 10. Be rong. SOME HUMOR I was in e six item express lane at e ore quietly fuming. The man said yes, and e Rabbi replied, 'Take e poison' Because ey had no reservations at a busy reaurant, my elderly neighbor and his wife were told ere would be a 45- minute wait for a table. 'Young man, we're bo 90 years old, ' e husband said..'we may not have 45 minutes.' They were seated immediately. EARN MONEY FOR CAMPUS MINISTRY wi escrip! Smi asks, 'And what does a million dollars mean to you?' The Lord replies, 'A penny.' Smi asks, 'Can I have a penny?' The Lord replies, 'In a minute.' John was on his deabed and gasped pitifully. 'Give me one la reque, dear,' he said. 'Of course, John,' his wife said softly. 'Six mons after I die,' he said, 'I want you to marry Bob.' 'But I ought you hated Bob,' she said.
