Pray for her to have a knowledgeable understanding along with a strong assurance of her Faith in Christ. Please pray for the church in Greece, that God would come and shake the earth again, with His reformation of doctrine, and revival by His Holy Spirit, and that the Greek Evangelical Church would be active and faithful to the Holy Scriptures and talking to Greeks about Jesus, outside the church. 98% of the Greek people are identified as Greek Orthodox. I was told by Greeks that since they are not preached to and not discipled, that even if you wanted to have a conversation on the street about Jesus Christ, people wouldn t know what to talk about. Being in Greece, buoyed up by all of your prayers, I was surprised that so many people that I bumped into were not only willing to talk, but also eager to read the literature given. People often ask me, Paddy, what is the best method of Evangelism? Answer: Why, after dinner evangelism. How does that work? You invite me to dinner, and I ll show you. That wisdom from God, has saved the ministry quite a lot of money over the years! The strap of my favorite back pack came undone in Greece. A few minutes later, I walked past a holein-the-wall shop in a side street. The husband and wife team sewed by hand and refused to take any money. So, I gave them an Ultimate Questions in Greek. All smiles! The next morning I returned to thank them and asked them if I could take this picture so that I, and now you, could pray for them. Brother Takis, ex-bible smuggler, lives modestly, and asks nothing for himself, but with manly tears in his eyes, he shared his vision for his beloved Greece. His vision has become my vision. It is now our prayer that this will happen before Brother Takis is called home to be with his Lord, and remember that he is 82 years old now. We are praying regularly that God would establish a Greek Reformed Evangelical Library in Thessalonica, Greece. They have nothing at present. $150,000 is needed for an apartment to house the Library, and $50,000 is needed for books, initially and primarily for the use of the Greek Evangelical Church, and later as a study center out-reach ministry of the church. 39th Annual PEF Family Evangelism Conference King College, Bristol, VA.
