Donna Jones, & Josh Cook 7 "Praise the Lord and Shout unto God with a Voice of Triumph," because We are Victorious. We were truly honored to be blessed with the presence of three powerful vessels, anointed and appointed by God, to minister and preach the bread of life. On January 22nd - January 26th, 2018 we experienced and received the presence of our Lord in the sanctuary. By way of His anointing, deliverance took place, yokes have been destroyed and prophecies bear witness to the mighty works of God. There were testimonies about deliverance and supernatural healings by the hand of God. We welcomed Harvest Time Evangelistic Center, in Mullins, S.C., Pastor Eartha Edwards. From the fruit of your lips "Somebody Give God Praise," as Pastor Edwards always says. The message came from the book of Phil. 3:14, with the title "If You Don't Press You Are Going To Drift." She referred to the writer Paul...in verse 14 " I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus (NIV)." She shared with us be quick to forgive and quick to renew your mind: to not harbor un-forgiveness in your heart. God wants to interrupt our routine and get us out of the slump, many are in. We ought to be sick of church as usual, because there is a place God desires to take us. We pray and believe that a rising is taking place in our spirit. This service was for the greedy!! We were also blessed to receive from Hartsville, S.C., Bishop Keith Bailey, overseer of Full Life Victory Center. "If we open up our Hearts, He will fill it;" We need to learn to open up our hearts when the preacher is sew-

Many of us may have buckled to the roar of the enemy, but others are fighting back! The topic was just one simple word "RUN." God says that it is time to run. If you are passive about the things of God, then you can miss your moment. The message was ministered out of Jer. 23:5 "The days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will raise up to David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land (NIV). Heb. 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us (NIV). Tell the devil access denied!!! Bishop Bailey returned the 3rd night and spoke again prophetically, under the unction of the Holy Spirit; letting us know there is a place that God is taking us. We turned our bibles to Matt. 15:1-13, in verse 13, Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots (NIV). The thought left with us, "Weed Get Out;" God is the Master at taking nothing and making something. We jump, and shout, but what about the unbelief that lies within us? There are many things that God desires to uproot out of us. If you grab hold to what God is saying you will never be broke another day in your life; not in your spirit and not in your mind. Last but not least, Prophet Carlton Sydnor from Charlotte, N.C. New Destiny Church gave a dynamic testimony on his very own supernatural healing. Out of Rev. 2:7 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches (NIV). Prophet Sydnor ministered that we need to mature as Christians in the church. Warfare isn't just with your prayer life, but what about after the praying is over? Sometimes warfare means just being quiet and holding your peace. 1 Cor. 13:11-13. In verse 11 "When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me (NIV)." On the final night with room to receive more word, Prophet Sydnor ministered about Time and Our Assignment. John 9:4 "As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. The problem is, we are playing around with time, and the things that should be a blessing ends up a curse because we want it out of season. There will come a time when your assignment will be over. 1 Peter 5:10 "And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast (NIV). Suffering comes with the assignment. Regardless of your assignment, you still need a covering and someone to governyour vision. Once again, the New Grace Church Family was honored; souls filled and edified each night with a word to reprove our hearts, transform our minds, and to build our character. Each night the Word bear witness to the house, prophetically and supernaturally. We continue to pray for our leaders to be endowed with the supernatural hand of God even the more, and for God to strengthen and have His way in their lives. Page 3 New Year s Eve Service The C.A.G.E. Ushered in a New Year The Christian Alliance of God s Elect came together on New Year s Eve to celebrate, fellowship, and hear a mighty word of God to usher in the New Year. The C.A.G.E consist of four churches underneath the leadership of Bishop Michael Cook. Paradise Kingdom Outreach Ministries of Cordova, NC where the pastor is Pastor Teddy Williams; Victory Faith of Hamlet, NC where the pastor is Pastor Rick Jackson; King of Kings World Outreach Ministries of Timmonsville, SC where the pastor is Pastor Charles Wright, and New Grace Temple Ministries of Florence, SC where the pastor and General Overseer is Bishop Michael Cook; all make up the Christian Alliance of God s Elect; better known as the C.A.G.E. The service started with communion to reverence our Lord for an awesome 2017 year, and to usher in a greater 2018. Our speaker for the hour was none other than Pastor Charles Wright of King of Kings. The Man of God spoke from the book of Exodus chapter 14:10-15, with a subject title I m Going Forward. In order to go forward, you got to leave some things in the past. Unfortunately some, like the children of Israel don t know how to move forward. Some can t see themselves out of bondage. In other words, like the children of Israel, let us alone. The children of Israel could not see or understand Moses was taking them to the promise land. They thought Moses brought them into the wilderness to die. Egypt was a real experience for the children of Israel. They were in bondage for over 400 years. In todays time, many are still in Egypt (a spiritual bondage) or a mindset to stay in bondage; even a place of complacency and stagnation. Pastor Wright stated in order to go forward, we ve got to Bust a Move!!! This is the last year I will be stuck in Egypt. This is the last year I m going to be broke! This is the last year that I m going to be in debt! This is the last year I m going to be in sickness! This is the last year I m going to live in sin. No More! No More! I can t look back. One thing about looking back, it encourages you to go back. Looking back can cause trouble. This year you are going to need to run for your life. No man, having put his hands to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the Kingdom of God (Luke 9:62). The Man of God told us in order for us to move forward in 2018, we were going to have to Press! REACH and Press!!! REACH AND PRESS!!!! REACH AND PRESS!!!! VICTORY IS AT THE DOOR!!!! Page 4 Africa Missions Program Africa Missions Program On the night of December 3 rd 2017, we held our Africa Mission program. We were blessed by several speakers. The first speaker of the hour was Elder Francena Johnson of Kingdom Life Ministries, where the pastor is Pastor Jeremiah Meritt. She ministered from the book of Isaiah. The woman of God came from Isaiah 59: 1 & 2, Behold, the Lord s hand is not shortened that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. Our second speaker was Minister Isaac Dargan of Outbreak Cathedral where the pastor is Pastor Shonette Dargan. The Man of God spoke from the book of Jeremiah. He referenced Jeremiah 1:11,12 where the Lord ask Jeremiah what do you see? The Man of God spoke from a topic: Fruitful Ministry. We must be fruitful. Our third speaker of the hour was Minister Ruddy Kato of Kingdom Builders, where the pastor is pastor Tyrone Phillips. The Man of God ministered from the book of Ezekiel and told us if we are going to do a work for the Lord than we got to be humble. There are many souls in the streets. We must do the work and go and get them. Our fourth speaker was our very own Minister Quintin Jones II. He spoke from Daniel 6:10,11,19-22 with a topic, I kept the Faith. He stated that Daniel had uncompromised faith. In this hour we have to have supernatural faith. Truly we were blessed by each speaker and grateful for each ministry supporting our Africa missions. The work is not in vain. New Grace Africa Missions Team have been visiting and supporting ministries in Africa since 2008. We now are in fellowship with 3 pastors in Liberia, Africa where each has come under the leadership of Bishop Cook. We were able to take a team back to Africa in February, 2017. Our vision is to go back in December of 2019. Thank you all for your support. If you would like to donate please visit our website: www.newgracetemple.com. All proceeds will go to Africa Mission Funds. Deacon Rodney Davis
Page 5 Family and Friends On Sunday February 11,2018 the Lord allowed us to fellowship with our friends and family one more time in His sanctuary. Our very own Bishop Michael Cook fed us from the topic "Attaining God's Joy." He expounded from Nehemiah 8:8-10 and John 15:10-11. The word came forth to remind us how God does everything with purpose, and everything God does has an expectant end (Jeremiah 29:11). Even though troubles will come, we must always be ready to present our troubles to our God. The man of God taught how we should be seeking the Joy of The Lord and not seeking just to be happy. Bishop Cook closed; reminding us to attain God s Joy, we must walk in God s commandments. Our minds and hearts should stay fixed on Jesus, so that we may have Joy in the mist of every situation. We thank the Lord for each and every visitor for coming out to fellowship with us and we encourage you to stay in fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ. We bless God for our kitchen and fundraiser committee's for preparing that which was needed for our natural bodies. We pray that all have a church home; if you do not you are more than welcome to fellowship with us here at New Grace Temple, where we believe as a ministry, the Bible is God's word for God's people; inspired by God and is the doctrine we live by; it supersedes all ideologies, philosophies and thoughts of men. Amen Henrietta Jones Women s Conference New Grace Temple Ladies of Grace held our annual Women's Conference on October 13-14, 2017. Our conference consisted of Friday night service followed by a seminar Saturday morning. On Friday night the presence of the Lord graced us through the yielding of Pastor Eartha Edwards Harvest Time Evangelistic Center. Saturday morning, we were divinely enriched. Our theme, Prayer, Praise & Promise, was expounded upon through Minister Tammie Jones, a breast cancer VICTOR and First Lady of Abundant Faith Family Worship Center; along with two of our very own Evangelist Donna Jones and our Ladies of Grace leader and First Lady of NGT, Evangelist Barbara Cook. We thank God for the transparency and inspiration that each speaker allowed to flow through them. Each lady wore a shade of pink or a pink ribbon in recognition of the fight against breast cancer, with October being the month of awareness. We were also educated by another one of our own, Missionary Yvonne Quillens, on current breast cancer statistics, mammograms, and self examinations during the seminar. Racquel Jones
Page 6 Pulpit Anniversary Pulpit Article The work of ministry often requires a person give up themselves for the care as well as comfort of others. New Grace Temple celebrated our pulpit ministry on January 14 th, 2018. Elder Mills of Kingdom Life Ministry, under the leadership of Pastor Jeremiah Merritt, blessed us in the word of God. Our pulpit ministry is led by Missionary Carnella Brown. Under her leadership the Pulpit ministry has worked tirelessly to be a blessing to our spiritual leaders as well as the entire ministry. So what is it that the Pulpit ministry does? The beautiful arrangements around the sanctuary, the maintenance of the pulpit as well as any other task that they are called upon to complete. The bible states that the laborer is worthy of his reward. (I Timothy 5:18, KJV) Although we are grateful to the entire pulpit ministry team we count it a privilege to honor the longest serving member of the team, Mother Coretha Bean. I truly believe that servitude is not just about how you serve but the attitude in which you serve. The attitude comes from what really lies within the heart. Congratulations to OUR pulpit ministry; we pray that God continues to strengthen your hands for the work that lies ahead. Elder Michael McMillian New Grace Temple gathered to celebrate our very own Deacon Thomas and Sister Vondella Peguese. These vessels of honor have labored within the ministry as well as behind the scenes of ministry, all while giving up of themselves freely. I recall one particular instance when Sister Peguese was called upon to work our Distribution Center. Although she had previous plans she was willing to adjust or even cancel her plans for the work of Ministry. I remember her saying when asked, why she was willing to do so, she plainly said, It s about the Kingdom. True servants must always keep this at the frontlet of their eyes. With the mind to serve we glorify God through our service to other people. Deacon Peguese, is one who is willing to do whatever it takes to see the ministry succeed. Even after our ministry started many projects, Deacon Peguese developed a strategy to help us meet our financial goals. Although he works incredibly hard as an Engineer as well as Conductor, he will stop by the church before going to rest just to be sure all is well. Pastor Timothy Criss of Faith Kingdom Builders Outreaching Ministry came to share with us in the word of God, out of the book of Revelations. The man of God left a word with us to encourage us in the work that has been assigned to our hands. Many words of encouragement were spoken to the Deacon and Sister Peguese from family as well as members of our ministry. We pray that as we gathered to celebrate the servants of God, they are encouraged in their efforts. All while knowing that God will continue to bless them as they continue to bless others. Congratulations to you both and we pray the blessings of God upon you. Elder Michael McMillian Appreciation Service
