Memorials Jill, I remember the day you met John as if it were yesterday. I had known John previously and thought what a great guy he is. Always pleasant, happy, funny, willing to do anything for anyone. Wish I could take the credit for introducing you two (well, I did but...john knew immediately what a great catch you would be) so I have to say you did it on your own. I was just lucky enough to be with you and he showed up. I saw John one time at Collin Creek Mall...he was checking up on something you had made and was on sale there. The expression on his face I will never forget.he had the look of a very proud
husband. You were very special to him as you are to Penny and me. I just heard about this and regret that I wasn't there for you sooner. Bless you and know that you are in my prayers. SALLY WYSONG RUSCHHAUPT, OCTOBER 18, 2011 I met John a few years ago and knew right away that he was a good match for you. I know that the loss of him is trememdous. Please know that you are in my prayers. I pray that you know that God is near. Remember this promise from Isaiah 58:9..."Then you will call and the Lord will answer; You will cry and he will say, Here I am." Hold onto Him and He will hold you up. SUE MONROE FORD, OCTOBER 17, 2011 Jill, I did not know John well but knew before I met him that if you chose him he must be a good man and when I met him I saw that it was true. I know that you will miss him and pray that your faith will remain strong because God promises us like he did the exiles in captivity that "he has a plan for us. It is not to harm us but to give us hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 I pray you are hanging onto our Savior and looking to the future with expectation because he has something wonderful for you. That promise is for you today and forever. May God richly bless you this day. SUE MONROE FORD, OCTOBER 16, 2011 Jill, I was so sorry to hear about John. NEAL PAULA ATOR, OCTOBER 4, 2011 One of my fondest memories of Uncle John, was when they still lived in Dallas. I was eating tootsie rolls in the kitchen, and then ran outside leaving the bag exposed on the counter. I came back in to find their beloved dog eating the entire bag, wrappers and all. I felt so bad but Uncle John told me not to worry, laughed, and hugged me. Uncle John will always be in my heart as such a kind, soothing, gentle person. I will forever remember him through the love he gave me and mementos such as the beautiful Noah's arc he carved and the swan that is in our front hallway. I love you Uncle John and know you are watching over us. TESSA WOOD, OCTOBER 4, 2011 Jill, We just wanted to say how sorry we are to hear about the loss of your
