Rose is an office volunteer who is dedicated to different odd jobs around the office. She is an incredibly caring person and a wonderful baker too. Here are some of the things Rose helps with on a consistent basis: organizing and preparing Faith Formation materials, maintaining accurate records so that she can assist with scheduling of Liturgical Ministers, assembling new member folders and gift bags, gathering sacred objects from parishioners, organizing and restocking the tables at the entrances of church, master paper cutter for numerous projects, and posting the weekly numbers on the Hymnal Stands. Rose also assists with putting together large signs/banners and posts signs around the building for the office staff. This is just a fraction of what Rose does. Rose always gets the job done because of her strong faith and compassion for the Parish and its members. As we recognize Rose for the wonderful things she does for our parish this week, please remember to give her a humble handshake, a hug and/or a smile in thanks for all that she does. Note: Nativity Parish will recognize at least one parishioner, business sponsor or member of the community each week under our Amazing Parishioners section of the bulletin, which includes uploads to our Facebook and Web page. If you have a recognition topic, please contact the Parish Office at 499-5156. ADVERTISER OF THE WEEK Please stop and purchase $crip to do your weekly shopping. Volunteers are in the Narthex before and after all Masses. $crip can also be purchased in the Parish Office during the week from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. If you have any questions, please contact the Parish Office at 499-5156. 6/6-6/12/16: $crip sold - $6,960.00 Profit - $318.94 3

WORSHIP NEWS Contact: Wayne Efferson, Director of Worship 490-1352, x206 or natwe@nativityparish.com PICNIC CHOIR FOR NATIVITY S PICNIC MASSES: Saturday, June 25 (5:00 PM) Sunday, June 26 (10:15 AM) There will also be a Tribute to our Veterans before the close of each Mass. Tami Hockers, Director, and Michael Raught, Accompanist, extend an invitation to all to sing in the choir for Nativity's Picnic Masses on Saturday, June 25 (5:00 PM) and Sunday, June 26 (10:15 AM). This has been always a special opportunity/tradition for us to come together and praise God in song. The last rehearsal will be Thursday, June 23 from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm (church). All ages are welcome! We have each been blessed with a unique voice, so let s raise them up together. Please e-mail Tami and/or Wayne if you are interested; also bring a friend! tami.hockers@gmail.com or Wayne Efferson, Director of Worship, 490-1352, x206 or natwe@nativityparish.com. LITURGICAL MINISTERS The Spring/Summer Schedule begins with this weekend Masses. If you did not get a copy, please pick one up in the front Sacristy or main office. Nativity s Women s Guild recognizes one of their amazing members each year for the gifts they bring currently or in the past to the Guild and our parish. This year, it was decided that two members of the Guild should receive this honor. There were a number of deserving women nominated for the Member of the Year Award and the board appreciates all the amazing things the members do. The Nativity Women s Guild would cease existence without the number of gifts each of the women bring and share. Some of the comments made about those nominated were: Very caring, considerate, and always willing to help. Dependable, dedicated and always does a good job. A member since the beginning in 1982 and is hard working and was very active. A very dedicated Guild member. She is thorough and reliable in everything she does. Her leadership as Secretary has always been dedicated to making the Guild stronger. This year s award goes to these two amazing members Joyce Bouche and Agnes Yungwirth! CONGRATULATIONS!! ORGAN CHIMES Thanks to the generosity of parishioner, Joan Ladwig, our organ has a set of tubular chimes (located behind the large pipes, on the side of the swell box ). Joan loves music, in fact, she plays the piano and organ, so this gift seems fitting. The Chimes will be used as a solo Stop/Voice when the Organist is playing meditative pieces. When our organ was purchased in 1996, it was designed to have two additional Stops/Voices. During our parish s 50 th Anniversary, we reached out to the parish to see if the organ could be completed. We did not reach our goal but the money that Joan donated covered the cost of installing the Chimes. It is our hope to complete the organ in the near future, once we raise the $45,000. Again, thank you Joan for this gift of music. Hey all you Middle Schoolers! Come join Stephanie for an afternoon of fun playing games. If the weather is nice we will play outdoor games, and if the weather is ugly we will be prepared to play games inside. Please RSVP to Stephanie by June 20 if you are planning to come. The event is June 22 from 1-4 pm. Please call 499-5156 or email Stephanie at natsr@nativityparish.com to RSVP. Thanks!! 4
