Buthowcanthisbe?HowdoweconceivethatGod,whoiseternalandnotbounded bytimeorspaceoranyofthosekindoflimitations,howdoweconceivethatthatgod becomesahumanbeing? Theologianscallthisparadoxtheincarnation.Somehow,JesusisbothfullyGodand fullyhuman7andthemiracleoftheincarnationisthatourgodcomestousso completelyandyetstillsovulnerably. AtChristmas,werememberthatGoddidnotwaitforustofindourwaytoheaven. Instead,GodemptiedGod sselfofallbutlovetocomeinthepersonofjesusforthe sakeofusall.jesusbecamevulnerabletosharelovewiththevulnerable.
