Eucharistic Adoration Ministry of Sault Ste. Marie Adoration Chapel located at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church The Chapel is open from 6:00 a.m. until Midnight. Christmas Cheer/Fruit Baskets St. Gregory's CWL is hosting Christmas Cheer once again on Wednesday, December 20th, 2017 in the Parish Hall. Volunteers are needed to help with the boxes on that day and are asked to arrive by 7:30 a.m. Also, we will be making fruit baskets for the shut-ins. If you would like to help with the baskets or delivery, please come to the Parish Hall on Wednesday, December 20th. St. Gregory s Parish News Youth Ministry in Sault Ste. Marie. The following programs are open to all young people in the city: Students in Grade 6,7,and 8: all students in this age range regardless of school or parish are invited to take part in EDGE-a Catholic Youth Night, every Thursday at 7:00pm at St. Jerome's Church (26 Carmel Road). Every evening is full of games, Catholic teachings, socials and food! Young Adults age 18-25: All Young Adults aged 18-25 are invited to take part in Elevate our Catholic Young Adults Group that meets every Friday at 6:30 pm at St. Jerome s Church. Bring your statues representing Baby Jesus to be blessed on the Third Sunday of Advent, December 16th and 17th. Father Pannike will have a special prayer of blessing for the statues representing Baby Jesus at all Masses. This event is a wonderful way for your family to come together to Mass and fill your hearts with the Joy of this season. Pilgrimage to Poland - Journey into the Mercy of God April 28 - May 14, 2018 Organized by Stan and Maria Dear Pilgrims, I am pleased to invite you to join us on our pilgrimage to Poland this April 28 until May 14, 2018. What a wonderful opportunity this will be to journey together in faith. We will pray and celebrate the Eucharist as we explore the wonders of the key Polish Shrines: Niepokalanow (St/. Maximilian Kolbe), Vilinus (original Divine Mercy Image), Lichen (Our Lady of Sorrows), Plock (where Jesus appeared to St. Faustina), Czestochowa (Black Madonna), Lagiewniki (Divine Mercy Shrine and St. John Paul II Centre Krakow),Kalwaria Zebrzydowska (Weeping Madonna),Wadowice (Birthplace of St. John Paul II and a Museum dedicated to him), Zakopane (where St. John Paul II skied and where a Church dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima was erected in gratitude by St. John Paul II for Our Lady saving his life). There will also be many opportunities to taste many Polish delicacies foods as all meals are included in the price. St. Gregory s Parish News Bake & Craft Sale This Weekend!! The CWL Annual Bake and Craft Sale is being held on Saturday, November 25th from 1:00 to 6:00PM and also before and after the masses on Sunday, November 26th in the Parish Hall. The Craft Group will have wool for sale at $2.00 a bag or donation. This fundraiser benefits the Parish and other worthy causes. We hope you will support this event! Journey Lottery Message Everyone is excited that the Journey s multi-purpose building, historical gallery and courtyard featuring Our Lady at the Rapids is under construction. To match the excitement, the Journey lottery has been changed as advised by many. This year s lottery will have a grand prize draw of $25,000 and five additional draws of $1,000 each. The tickets will be drawn on Holy Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 12 pm at Precious Blood Cathedral. Remember there are only 6,000 tickets printed. Join the excitement and support the Journey Lottery.
