stated desire fr ceducatinal teen learning, but we ve had lw enrllment in all f the mdels we ve attempted. There is great diversity f belief and practice, which is bth a strength and a challenge when trying t craft diverse prgramming t appeal t families whse cnnectin t Judaism may be based religiusly, culturally, histrically, and therwise. While we have expanded intergeneratinal prgramming in recent years, there is a desire fr mre. There is a perceptin that the Talmud Trah is discnnected frm the rest f the TBI cmmunity. It is ur hpe that the Directr f Cmmunity Educatin will help bridge different parts f ur cmmunity. Our greater Eugene-Springfield cmmunity: Eugene is a classic cllege twn, with a metrplitan-area ppulatin f abut 216,000. Eugene is small enugh t bike acrss but large enugh t ffer galleries, music venues, and restaurants t discver. Eugene has mre wrking artists, writers, and musicians per capita than Prtland. Outdr recreatin is key t the Eugene lifestyle, with rivers, muntains, and an cean all within easy reach. Our cmmunity is diverse, has an infrmal style, and respects differences. There is an active inter-faith cmmunity. TBI Dir. f Cmm. Ed. 5
