Reflection for Vocations May 13, 2018 The Ascension of the Lord; Mother s Day And they went out and proclaimed the good news everywhere, while the Lord worked with them. If you are discerning a vocation to proclaim the Gospel as a priest, call Father Michael Boehling at (804) 359-5661, or write: mboehling@richmonddiocese.org. 3 Ascension This wasn t meant as a grand exit for the amazement of the Apostles or as a cool elevator ride to heaven. Jesus bodily resurrection into heaven opened the door for all of us to live in hope of one day being with Him forever. As members of His body, Jesus also intercedes for us constantly, giving us the permanent outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
