Christine Caton has, in her over 26 years of ordained ministry, served as a campus minister, solo pastor, associate pastor, youth pastor, and hospital chaplain. She has also done a great deal of peacemaking work, particularly in Israel/Palestine and Colombia. Christine recently took an early retirement, but stays active as a volunteer on the Executive Committee of the Presbyterian Peace Fellowship and on the board of Presbyterian Promise. She is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary and received her undergraduate degree in dramatic arts from the University of Connecticut. Serving as a parish pastor for 23 years in Michigan, Ohio and New York, developed her preaching skills. She has supplied for churches large and small, urban, suburban and rural. A graduate of Yale Divinity School, she has continued her education through classes at the College of Preachers. Currently Assistant Dean of Students for Community Life and Career Services at Yale Divinity School, previous experience is in college chaplaincy at four very different institutions. Susan lives in New Haven with her daughter Selam, and is willing to travel throughout the presbytery. The Rev. Carol North 275 Woodland Rd. Since moving to CT in 2002 she has enjoyed helping two UCC churches celebrate significant historic milestones (250 and 300-year anniversaries). Susan was Stated Supply Pastor at First United Church of Christ, Bridgeport 2010-2016. After 122 years of ministry, the Church closed its doors at the end of December 2016. From February April 2017, Susan was the Sabbatical Supply Pastor at Monroe Congregational Church, Monroe CT. During the summer and fall, guest preaching opportunities included Valley Presbyterian Church, Brookfield; United Congregational Church, Bridgeport; and United Congregational Church, Richards Ave., Norwalk. joanpriest392@gmail.com Ordained in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) for over 25 years, graduate of the College of Wooster in Ohio, with a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies, and Princeton Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity Degree with a concentration in Pastoral Care and Counseling. She has served in churches in New Jersey, Ohio, and North Carolina but has spent most of her ministry in Fairfield County, having served as Parish Associate and Temporary Pastoral Supply at the First Presbyterian Church of New Canaan for 14 years, several summers as Temporary Pastoral Supply at the Wilton Presbyterian Church, and as Interim Associate Pastor of Mission and Nurture at the First Presbyterian Church of Greenwich. After moving to Lyme, CT in 2014 she has served as Stated Supply Pastor to the Westminster Presbyterian Church in West Hartford, CT and Stated Supply of the Dunn s Corner Community Church Presbyterian, in Westerly, RI. She is currently serving part-time at the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme as their Minister of Visitation. The Rev. Richard W. He is living in Litchfield County and has enjoyed leading worship in a variety of churches in NY, CT, and MA. He serves on the Committee on Ministry and has a strong interest in mission and church history. The Rev. Formerly Chair of the Ecclesiastical Relations Committee and on Roundtable, he has convened or served on several task forces and was a Commissioner to the 220th General Assembly. His Specialized Ministry is teaching, mostly at Queens College, CUNY, and at Eugene Lang College, where he teaches both Philosophy of Religion and Poetry and Religion. He and his wife Mary attend First, New Haven, where she serves on session and they sing in the choir, among other things.
