Pastor Rick Haug, Senior Pastor Pastor Brennan Travis, Assoc. Pastor/Youth Pastor Kevin & Lisa High, Children s Pastors Good morning all! Looks like the past week was filled with family fun and good times. It is always good to gather together for the Lord s day. This day is special as we will be observing Holy Communion. We invite all believers to join us in this special and sacred time. The summer months are hot and busy and it seems to fly by. May I encourage each of us to maintain good devotional habits in this season. Don t let activities crowd out your private time with the Lord. Next week we will be hosting our Pastor from Pryor, Montana. Dr. Russell Stands-Over-Bull will be speaking on Sunday morning. He is a brilliant man who loves God and has a great heart for his people. We join him and M-25 Ministries for the War Horse Giveaway at the annual Crow Nation Festival in August. Please come to hear this wonderful man of God and honor him for his unique ministry. Thanks for sharing with us today be blessed. Pastor Rick Prime Timers Come join us for a summer fun day in the ORC. Homemade ice cream, games and prizes from 2:00 to 4:00 on Tuesday, July 18th. Samaritan s Feet shares hope with children in the U.S. and around the world by washing their feet, giving them a new pair of shoes, and helping them believe that their dreams can come true. Living Word Church is bringing this hope to our community again this year by hosting a Samaritan s Feet event on Saturday, August 19th. We will be serving by washing feet and fitting kids in the community with a new pair of shoes just in time for the start of the school year. In addition to the shoes, we will offer free hair cuts and free backpacks filled with school supplies for those who have already registered for this event. AND THEN, stick around for a FREE lunch! Living Word, we need your help. We are taking donations of school supplies to fill these backpacks (please see the list below of needed supplies); or you may donate funds that will be used towards the purchase of these items. Also, if you are available on August 19th, we are in need of volunteers to help with check-in, foot washing, shoe fitting, backpack distribution, food service and so much more! School supplies may be dropped off in the choir room. See Stefanie Westmoreland or Robyn Queen if you have questions. For volunteer information, please see Pastor Brennan Travis. ***School supplies must be turned in by #2 Pencils (8 ct. packs) Crayons (24 ct. packs) Glue Sticks Colored Pencils Markers 1 Subject Spiral Notebooks Composition Notebooks Rulers Packs of Loose-leaf Notebook paper (approx. 150 ct. packs) 2 Pocket Portfolio Folders Student Scissors Previous Week s Attendance Sunday School 185 Sunday Morning 319 Sunday Evening n/a Wednesday Night n/a OUR GIVING THROUGH JULY 2, 2017 2017 Operational Budget $812,338.85 Year To Date Projected $413,833.05 Year To Date Received $438,542.85 Tithes & Offerings $18,394.74 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse...and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it. ~ Malachi 3:10 ~
