God While writing this year s Annual Report letter, I am thinking about the Apostle Paul and the incredible gratitude that he had for the members of the Thessalonian church. He writes: We give thanks to God always for all of you, making tion of you in our prayers; constantly bearing in mind your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the presence of our God and Father (1 Thess. 1:2-3). With this in mind, I thank God for all you, the family and friends of New Life Fellowship, for your financial support, kingdom vision, and ministry faithfulness. Our vision is to see new people come to faith in Jesus Christ, develop emerging leaders, experience authentic worship of our Almighty God, create a place where life-changing relationships are built and provide relevant and impactful ministry to our church and community. 1 We discussed in 2015 that we were entering into a season of kingdom growth and campus expansion, which will continue into 2016. We have expanded our staff, scope of ministries, and continuing to develop plans to enlarge our facilities. As I discussed on last year, we have maxed out our facilities and parking, and God has provided us with a significant amount of land for growth. By God s grace and your support, we seek to accomplish some courageous and bold initiatives for building lives and glorifying God. We are asking and praying for each member to be totally and prayerfully committed to seeing God s vision for our church become a reality. We look forward to seeing you at our annual State of the Church Business Meeting at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, in the auditorium. Dr. Maurice Pugh Senior Pastor People But when the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered themselves together. One of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, Teacher, which is the great commandt in the Law? And He said to him, YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND. This is the great and foremost commandt. The second is like it, YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF. On these two commandts depend the whole Law and the Prophets. Matthew 22:34-40
