Broad Mountain Avenue SACRAMENTS Sacrament of Baptism- The sacrament of Baptism is ordinarily celebrated immediately following the 11:30 a.m. Mass on Sundays. Please call the Parish Office at least two months in advance in order to make arrangements. Parents must be registered in the parish and active for at least three months prior to the Baptism. Sponsors must be canonically eligible. Certificates of Eligibility sponsorship at Baptism or Confirmation requires that a person be an active, registered member of the parish three months prior to receiving the certificate of eligibility. Please contact the Parish Office for more information. Sacrament of Marriage- Please call the Parish Office at least 6 months before the proposed marriage dates in order to arrange for the necessary preparation. An appointment is necessary before a wedding date may be scheduled. Parish and Diocesan pre-marital classes are required. Only parish guidelines will be followed in planning the marriage ceremony. Third Sunday of Advent LITURGY OF THE WORD - FOR CHILDREN ALLELU Allelu! Children s Liturgy of the Word is available every Sunday at the 10:00 a.m. Mass. All parish children ages 4 second grade are welcome to attend. CLOTHING DRIVE-We are asking for new or gently used adult and or children s coats, gloves, hats and scarves to be donated. They will be combined with other Parishes donations and given away to those in need at St. Charles Borromeo in Ashland. Please drop off all donations to the Parish Office. CHILDREN S CHOIR-we will be getting ready for Christmas Eve Mass 4:00 p.m. MANY voices are needed. All parish children are welcome. Practices are Sundays 5 to 6 p.m. in Annunciation BVM Church. Please encourage your child to join us as we prepare to celebrate the Savior s birth as a parish. ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PAGEANT-The Pageant is scheduled for Sunday, December 16 in our Parish Hall. The pageant begins at 6 p.m. & all parishioners are welcome. There will be cookies & beverages for everyone immediately following the performance. Please join us! The children are working hard and it s going to be wonderful! ANNOUNCING FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT THURSDAY, December 27, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the parish hall, Nine South Broad Mountain Avenue, Frackville. We ll be watching The Star an animated film about the very first Christmas. This is the same movie we enjoyed as a parish at the theater last December. Movie night is free and light refreshments will be served. Bring a blanket and sit on the floor or bring lawn chairs. All are welcome!
