Stewardship Corner ~...it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit: that the Gentiles are coheirs, members of the same body, and copartners in the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel. EPHESIANS 3:5-6 Epiphany literally means becoming apparent or appearance. On this day we celebrate the fact that the reality of Jesus Christ as our Lord and as the divine and human son of God becomes apparent and real to us. This manifestation, following Christmas so closely, is another reminder to us of how gifted we are. It is an additional indication to us of how essential it is for us to acknowledge our giftedness and to respond in kind through stewardship. As one body, we need to support one another, those that are wounded, those that are suffering, those that are weak, those that are angered: We need to reach out to all of these people and help them to feel loved. When parts in a human body become wounded, distressed, or compromised, other parts in that same body assist by increasing their action. We need to realize that God is calling us to this increased action towards others in distress each day of our lives. You do not need to have any special training. You need the desire to contribute. Everyone is welcome from 6th grade up. There is no need to audition. Just come and join our wonderful group of singers. We meet every Wednesday night from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm in the church. Singing is Praying twice! For more information, please contact Cathy Grebner at 610.345.0549 or email me at cgrebner@comcast.net. Thank you to all who donated gifts to the Spirit of Christmas! We are truly blessed that our parish can share the joy of Christmas with so many of our brothers and sisters at Ware Senior Village, Lighthouse Youth Center, Cornerstone Pregnancy Center, Divine Sense Food Cupboard, Coatesville Catholic Social Services, and Oxford Neighborhood Services. May we continue to answer Christ's call to love and support the lessfortunate in our parish, community, and world. 0132 Sacred Heart Parish Sunday, January 4, 2015

Sacred Heart s Centennial Celebration Plans are underway to celebrate Sacred Heart s Centennial Celebration. Consider lending your time and talents to the Centennial Committee as plans are in the making to kick off a year long celebration starting on Saturday evening, June 6 th, 2015, and continuing thru out the year until the closing in June 2016. Sacred Heart s official anniversary is June 15, 2015. Consider being part of the heart, as our committee seeks volunteers that are willing to lend their time and talent and treasures. We need a wide spectrum of expertise to make this a celebration to remember.
