We cordially invite all parents of children (ages 3 to 18) to a Parent Meeting, which will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 4pm in the Tom Brown Sunday School classroom, located on the 3rd floor. This meeting is an opportunity for all parents at Long Memorial to give feedback on our Children s Ministry and Youth Ministry programs. We want our church to continue to be a place where families choose to bring their children, so that they may grow their faith and knowledge of Christ, therefore, we want your input. Hope to see you there! FINANCE UPDATE As we near the end of 2017, here is an update of giving. Remember, our budget- including mission, operations, and repayment of our capital debt- is about $36,000/month. Historically, we have elected to give a significant portion of this obligation in the last two months of the year, rather than equally across the year. There is no reason to suspect that will not be the case again this year. In fact, I assured the Bishop this is our plan, and we will provide our share of missional giving. Our annual budget goal is $432,000 Giving through October is $286,000 Goal for Nov/Dec. is $146,000 I give thanks for your faithfulness, and for God s gracious provision for us all. God s unlimited love enables us to share in the great blessing of our life together. Peace and Grace, Jeff PARENTS MEETING OF CHILDREN ages 3 to 18
