2 MEMBERSHIP REPORT Betsy Rothwell - Membership Chair We had 57 members at the March meeting, which curiously was the same as the February meeting. Dale Aris is a new member to the club. We have 182 members at present. If you have friends who would like to join Probus, we have 18 openings, so it s a good time to apply. The application form is on the Probus of Huntsville website - http://www.probushuntsville.ca, under the Contact Us tab. Please don t forget to look for the red dot on name tags of our new members, and take a moment to introduce you and welcome them to our club. Management Committee members will have a green dot on their badge. Badges for new members can be picked up from the desk at the door. Please remember to wear your name tag. If you keep it in the glove box of your car you will always have it handy. CARE BEAR REPORT Margaret Masterson Reporter Get well cards were sent out to Dee Mallette, Ann Hough and Betsy Rothwell, as well as a sympathy card to Eva Adkins and a congratulations card to Gwen and John Jackson. If you have any information (such as operations, death of close family members or even the birth of grandchildren), please let me know. I would appreciate hearing from you and I will send a card on everyone s behalf. Paper plates will not be used. $30 per person which includes two games of bowling, equipment rental, dinner, tax and gratuity. If we are able to sell 48 tickets, then the function will be private and restricted to our Probus group only. Both five and ten pin bowling will be available.

(Separate cheques for each event). We will reimburse money paid for an event due to cancellation by the member to the extent that there is no cost to the club. We encourage members to organize events (such as lunches, trips, etc.), but due to insurance reasons all events must be cleared through the events chair(s) and approved by the Management Team before members can be contacted or tickets can be sold at meetings. Members organizing events may contact John McCaig at globalskate@sympatico.ca with details of the luncheon /event and he will print the tickets for you if you wish. Please allow 14 days prior to required date. Probus Huntsville Web Site and Newsletter Over the next few months you will see some changes to the newsletter. We are hoping to include pictures of events and other information of interest to our members. Ultimately the newsletter will migrate to our website. We will continue to produce a paper copy for those without computer access.
