Transcription:

"Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands! Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations." Psalm 100 P.O. The Lord s Day November 28, 2010 Call to Worship Pastor Stu Johnston Hymn of Praise # 53 "Hallelujah, Praise Jehovah" Scripture Reading John 13:33-14:18 Offertory Hymn # 27 "Great is Thy Faithfulness" Pastoral Prayer Hymn of Preparation "Speak, O Lord" 1. Speak, O Lord, as we come to You, to receive the food of Your Holy Word. Take Your Truth, plant it deep in us; shape and fashion us in Your likeness; That the light of Christ might be seen today in our acts of love and our deeds of faith. Speak, O Lord and fulfil in us all Your purposes for Your glory. 2. Teach us Lord, full obedience, Holy reverence, true humility. Test our thoughts and our attitudes; in the radiance of Your purity. Cause our faith to rise, cause our eyes to see Your majestic love and authority. Words of pow r that can never fail; let their truth prevail over unbelief. 3. Speak, O Lord, and renew our minds; help us grasp the heights of Your plans for us. Truths unchanged from the dawn of time, that will echo down through eternity. And by grace we ll stand on Your promises; and by faith we ll walk as You walk with us. Speak, O Lord, til Your church is built, and the earth is filled with Your glory. Text and Music: Keith Getty and Stuart Townend 2006 Thankyou Music Used by Permission CCLI # 1899094 Sermon Pastor Charles Fortner

Evening Worship Call to Worship Stephen Byrd Hymn of Praise # 86 "Now Thank We All Our God" Scripture Reading Genesis 30:22-43 Pastoral Prayer Offertory Hymn # 615 "Come, Ye Thankful People, Come" Hymn of Preparation "There is a Higher Throne" 1. There is a Higher Throne, than all this world has known, Where faithful ones from ev ry tongue, will one day come. Before the Son we ll stand, made faultless thro the Lamb; Believing hearts find promised grace; salvation comes. Hear heaven s voices sing; their thund rous anthem rings Thro emerald courts and sapphire skies; their praises rise. All glory, wisdom, pow r, strength, thanks, and honor Are to God, our King, Who reigns on high, forevermore! 2. And there we ll find our home; our life before the Throne. We ll honor Him in perfect song where we belong. He ll wipe each tearstained eye as thirst and hunger die. The Lamb becomes our Shepherd King, we ll reign with Him. Hear heaven s voices sing; their thund rous anthem rings Thro emerald courts and sapphire skies; their praises rise. All glory, wisdom, pow r, strength, thanks, and honor Are to God, our King, Who reigns on high, forevermore!
