We had so much fun when we were in Colorado for Volleyball. He went to the game and took us all to the Olympic Training Center. He always kept us laughing. All the McCartney's are very Godly men. We all were so blessed to have such wonderful fathers. So now I would like to end with a Irish Blessing just for Uncle Hugh. May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be
always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; The rains fall soft upon your fields And, until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand. LUCILLE COGBURN, APRIL 18, 2008 I, Duane, have many fond memories of growing up in Colorado Springs with Hugh and Jewel, and their sons. I remember them as a pillar of stability for the Colorado Springs congregation. The picnics in the park across from their house with the families from the church were always looked forward to. We will miss Hugh and Jewel, as I realize it is now our generation's turn to become the people Jesus needs to lead His Church. What an example for us all. God Bless you!! RON & KAREN REDDING, APRIL 18, 2008 We met Hugh and Jewell at one of the camp meetings and had great fun sitting and talking with them at length. We only saw them once more after that, but kept up a correspondence thru the mail. How we loved the letters we received from them. We felt enriched from knowing such an example of older Christians who loved and helped one another until the end. We miss them both.
