Additional Announcement All are invited to the Friends of Western Banquet that will be held on Thursday, October 11 at 5:30 p.m. The cost per meal is $10.00. Orlin Te Slaa, an attorney from Minneapolis, a 1976 graduate of Western Christian, will share his thoughts on Christian education. Dordt Events ~ Friday, October 12 ~ Guest artist Jennifer Youngs, soprano, will present a vocal recital at Dordt College at 7:30 pm in the B.J. Haan Auditorium. Youngs is currently serving on the voice faculty and is Director of Opera at Texas Woman s University in Denton, Texas. Mark your calendar ~ Inspiration Hills will be holding their FIRST ANNUAL Auction on Friday, October 26! The doors open at 6 pm and the Auction begins at 7 pm. They are asking for larger items to sell (dinners, tickets, outing, meat bundles) and smaller items (homemade goodies, and small items to combine into baskets). This year s auction proceeds will go towards the kitchen remodeling project. Everything that happens at Inspiration Hills, whether it s summer camps, family reunions, weekend retreats, or whatever involves food it s an important part of ministry.
