Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, is it true O Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods nor worship the golden image which I have set up. Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer and all kinds of music ye fall down and worship the image which I have made well, but if ye worship not ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands. Shadrach Meshach and Abednego answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace and He will deliver us out of thine hand O king. But if not, be it known unto thee O king that we will not serve thy gods nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. 83. Trust in the Lord and do good, so shall thou dwell in the land and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord: and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him. Fret not thyself because of him who prospers in his way because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger and forsake wrath. Fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For evil doers shall be cut off but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth 84. Who can find a virtuous woman, for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. Strength and honour are her clothing: and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom: and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household and eats not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up and call her blessed: her husband also and he praiseth her. Favor is deceitful and beauty is vain: but a woman that fears the Lord, she shall be praised. 85. If you through the spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, you shall live.
