Christ the Lord is Risen Today, Alleluia! WELCOME: We welcome each and everyone who worships here today with a sincere and reverence filled heart. May the Risen Lord be living in your life so that others may see Him in your lifestyle and in your actions. Please join us after the morning service for a time of fellowship and refreshments in our Fellowship Hall. Children aged 3-5 meet your teacher, in the foyer during the offering this morning for Children s Church. ABOUT OUR MESSAGES This morning, we take a break from our series in Acts and ask, what is the core message of Christianity? Each and every day, people are bombarded by news. Some news matters only to certain people, but other headlines affect everyone. In 1 Corinthians 15:1-11, Paul outlines the gospel message as The Most Important News in History. This evening, Pastor John Gorter will be bringing God s Word in combined worship with New Holland CRC. PRAYERS AND PRAISES Prayer Update: This past week, Michael Buitenbos consulted with doctors and determined that chemotherapy would be unnecessary at this time. Be praying for Michael and Abby as they continue to undergo regular scans for the immediate future. Thank you for all the prayers, phone calls, cards, food and visits since I had my colon cancer surgery. I do not need any further treatment at this time. I thank God for healing. ~Dorothy Vandertuin

ABOUT OUR OFFERINGS This week, our offerings are for Resonate Global Missions. Christian Reformed Home Missions (CRHM) and World Missions (CRWM) officially became Resonate Global Mission on July 1, 2017. For more than a century, these two agencies have been introducing people to Christ in North America and around the world. That means continuing our partnership with churches in the United States and Canada to plant churches, do campus ministry, train and equip pastors, and develop future leaders. Additionally, it means sending missionaries overseas, proclaiming the Gospel, and forging lasting partnerships. We also are tackling new opportunities for ministry and with your prayers and financial support, as a single agency we will be able to equip all our churches for ministry and join together with what God is already doing around the world. (from https://www.resonateglobalmission.org/about.html) Next week s offerings are for Dakota Christian School. Dakota Christian School educates children and young people from the perspective of God s Word, in the Holy Bible, in all subjects. We emphasize God s truth in all areas of life to equip students for service in our world today and tomorrow.
