urshancollege.org History The Missouri District founded Gateway College of Evangelism, now Urshan College, in 1966. After forty years on the existing campus, the president of Gateway College, Darrell Johns, led the school through the transition into UPCI ownership. On October 11, 2011, the UPCI General Board approved a plan for Urshan Graduate School of Theology to acquire Gateway College of Evangelism in order to form a new college. On July 1, 2012, the switch to Urshan College was complete. Under the leadership of David K. Bernard, the new school is preparing to seek accreditation and it offers a variety of majors. Urshan College also operates under the governance of the UGST Board of Trustees. Mission The mission of Urshan College is to educate, equip, and empower students for life and servant leadership in the church and the world. Urshan College is a Pentecostal school in teaching and practice. Our curriculum endeavors to integrate faith and promote academic excellence. Our goal is to enable students to use their experiences to engage the world as leaders. We are focused on providing students with an education that will help them transform their professions, churches, and communities.

History The UPCI founded Urshan Graduate School of Theology (UGST) in honor of Oneness Pentecostal pioneers A. D. Urshan and N. A. Urshan. UGST was founded to provide training for teachers, pastors, missionaries, chaplains, and other areas of ministry to serve the UPCI. Timothy Dugas, Arless Glass, and Jesse Williams played significant roles in making the vision of UGST a reality. Since the approval by the 1999 UPCI General Conference and beginning classes in 2001, UGST has been dedicated to the preservation of Apostolic heritage, preparation of men and women in service, and propagation of the gospel. Mission The mission of UGST is to provide training, development, and advanced studies for men and women of the Apostolic faith worldwide to prepare for Christian service. While serving as a scholarly resource and research center for the exploration and proclamation of the Apostolic faith, UGST provides on-campus and distance-learning educational opportunities. We are focused on cultivating a spiritual environment that embraces the biblical mandate of global evangelism. As the first accredited Apostolic graduate school, UGST is an exciting development.

URSHAN HONOR CODE "The Urshan Honor Code is rooted in specific character values from Scripture and reflects the message of Micah 6:8: He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? " "The Urshan Honor Code is the highest obligation of the entire Urshan Community. Every member of the Urshan Community is honor bound to this commitment." Jonanthan McClintock, M.Div.

urshan.net/nehemiah-project The Nehemiah Project is a ten-year plan designed to restore, preserve, and expand the Urshan campus. Together with volunteer efforts and the donations of our supporters, we will "rise up and build" while preserving this historic campus and building a legacy for the next generation of Apostolic leaders. The Nehemiah Project allows our students to utilize improved study and instruction areas while also expanding the David K. Bernard Library, which provides our students with valuable academic resources to supplement their Apostolic education. We need your help! Please contact our facilities manager, Donnie Huslage at dhuslage@ugst.edu if you'd like to volunteer your time and expertise. How can you support the Urshan Community? WAYS TO GIVE Urshan College and Urshan Graduate School of Theology are grateful for our current donors and volunteers. We value the time and resources invested to make us a success and allow us to continue in our distinct mission. Like the majority of higher educational institutions, we depend upon our supporters to assist us in providing Apostolic education to the generations of Apostolic leaders to come. The Urshan Community wishes to thank you for taking time to get better acquainted with us through this booklet. We welcome you into the Urshan Community and invite you to participate with us as we advance Apostolic education. Planned Giving Establishing an annual gift annuity or including Urshan in your estate planning can provide a greater avenue for you to invest in the next generation of Apostolic leaders while providing you tax and supplemental income benefits. Endowments As the only institution of higher education owned and operated by the UPCI, the United Pentecostal Foundation manages the endowed funds of our donors. You can be confident that your designated investment will be handled responsibly and yield benefits for future generations.

urshan.net/donate One-Time Gifts A contribution in any amount is greatly appreciated to help us move forward in our distinct mission. Your gift will not only be an investment for today but also in our tomorrow. Monthly Recurring Gifts Making a monthly gift to Urshan will allow you to contribute an amount that is manageable for your budget while still providing a much-needed benefit to offer Apostolic education and resources for our students. Thank You!
