The 2017 season begins with the season opener in May with all games being played weekly each Wednesday night at Watkins United Methodist Church. Coached by our very own Joe Torre in-training, Kyle Mullens, the team includes members of all ages, skill level, and athletic ability! We hope joining this league will help us enjoy fellowship and a little friendly competition with other believers in the community. If you are interested in participating, it is not too late! Look for a sign up sheet on the fellowship bulletin board or contact Elizabeth Latham for more information. Our first practice is going to be held in March. We are looking forward to an exciting season! Flowers: The 2017 flower chart is posted on the bulletin board in the hallway. It is a great opportunity to remember a significant date, remembering or honoring a loved one or just simply a gift of beautiful flowers for the worship service. Please sign-up now to grab that special date! Ushers: We are still in need of ushers. Please sign-up on the bulletin board in the hallway right next to the 2017 flower chart. It s no joke!! All Trinity women are invited to the Spring Gathering of the Mid-KY PW, where sisters from our region will meet on Saturday, April 1 st. The speaker is Carol Winkler, the national PW moderator. The event is always an encouraging time, so plan to be with us if you can. For those wanting to carpool, we ll gather here at 8:50 a.m. to Beulah Presbyterian Church (Fern Creek area). You can you help us collect items for the day s mission project to build hygiene kits: gallon-size zip lock bags, washcloths, hand towels (16 x28 ), combs with wide teeth, wrapped bath-size bar soap, and Band-Aids. Please see our hallway bulletin board and March Trinity Times for more information about the event and mission challenge, and to register to attend. You can also contact Kay Nolan or Virginia Kozak.

In Christ Alone WORDS AND MUSIC BY KEITH GETTY & STUART TOWNEND COPYRIGHT 2001 KINGSWAY THANKYOU MUSIC In Christ alone my hope is found; He is my light, my strength, my song; This cornerstone, this solid ground, Firm through the fiercest drought and storm. What heights of love, what depths of peace, When fears are stilled, when strivings cease! My comforter, my all in all Here in the love of Christ I stand. In Christ alone, Who took on flesh, Fullness of God in helpless babe! This gift of love and righteousness, Scorned by the ones He came to save. Till on that cross as Jesus died, The wrath of God was satisfied; For ev ry sin on Him was laid Here in the death of Christ I live. There in the ground His body lay, Light of the world by darkness slain; Then bursting forth in glorious day, Up from the grave He rose again! And as He stands in victory, Sin s curse has lost its grip on me; For I am His and He is mine Bought with the precious blood of Christ. No guilt in life, no fear in death This is the pow r of Christ in me; From life s first cry to final breath, Jesus commands my destiny. No pow r of hell, no scheme of man, Can ever pluck me from His hand; Till He returns or calls me home Here in the pow r of Christ I ll stand.
