We got to know each other better while learning about our faith and church and also struggling with some tough questions about what we believe. We are truly blessed to have such a great group as part of our church family. They have gone before Session, read their Statements of Faith as prepared as part of their Confirmation, and sought baptism and membership. We will have an opportunity to welcome the newly baptized and celebrate their commitment during worship on May 20, with a reception to follow. I can t think of a more fitting way to celebrate Pentecost Sunday! Blessings in Christ, Pastor Dan Session Summary We joyously approved baptisms and membership for seven youth from the Confirmation class! We had joint leadership training with the deacons. We approved an upgrade to our soundboard in the back of the sanctuary, allowing us greater flexibility with programs and special events. We continued our discussion on sight lines from the overflow area of the sanctuary concerning the modesty rails and decided to take no action at this time. We decided to move Session from the third Wednesday of the month to the fourth Wednesday of the month beginning in May.

The junior and senior high youth groups participated in a 30-hour famine the weekend of March 23-24 to raise money to fight hunger. The youth groups are led by Will & Katie Travis. The last day of Sunday school this year is Sunday, May 27. Have a great summer! Children s Moment 4/15/18
