CALLING ALL STUDENTS PLEASE JOIN US FOR... APRIL 7-8 COVINGTON, KY Parents: for more detailed info on this conference go to www.ciy.com/superstart. And let me know if you would like to attend with your student, cost for a parent attending is $30. WTCC students and chaperones will gather at noon on Friday April 7th and head to Covington, KY. We will have dinner together and then attend the evening session at SuperStart. We will board the bus at 7:45am on Sat. morning and enjoy a full day of SuperStart speakers, music, and activities. We will head back to Knoxville around 3pm on Sat., stop for dinner on the way and arrive back at WTCC around 8pm or 8:30pm that evening. Cost for the trip is $95 and includes event registration, hotel, and all meals. To register for this event go to followjesus.org/superstart Deadline will be Sunday March 5th.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR DONATIONS OF ALMOST ANYTHING: FURNITURE, CLOTHING, TOYS, TOOLS, HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES (BIG & SMALL), ELECTRONICS, TV'S (FLATSCREEN ONLY), BOOKS, DVD'S, SPORTING EQUIPMENT, BABY ITEMS, ETC, ETC... ITEMS NOT SOLD AT THE YARD SALE WILL BE DONATED TO KARM. WE ALSO NEED DOOR PRIZES FOR THE CAR SHOW. IF YOU, OR ANYONE YOU KNOW COULD DONATE ITEMS FOR DOOR PRIZES OR GIFT CERTIFICATES, IT WILL BE APPRECIATED. ITEMS DO NOT HAVE TO BE CAR RELATED. DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE WITH A SUPER NICE CAR? Mother s Day Out Registration Began March 1st. WTCC offers a loving, Christian preschool program for children 12-months to Pre-K on Monday/Thursday or on Tuesday/Friday. women of worth The Women of Worth (WOW) Bible Study, which meets Tuesdays at 10:00am, has just completed a bold and practical study of "The Armor of God" by Pricilla Shirer. Beth Kendrick so ably and willingly facilitated our study. Now, with our armor in place, we move on to 7 weeks walking through the life of Joseph. The account of Joseph takes up more space in the book of Genesis than any other person with the exception of Abraham, which is given about the same amount. We are told more about Joseph than we are about Adam, Noah, Isaac, or Jacob. Through this lineage of Abraham, God would bless the nations through the birth of Jesus Christ. God is the hero of Joseph's story. Join us as we see how the Joseph story is a part of the much larger story of who God is and what He is doing in the world. AN ENCOURAGING WORD by George Clark Jesus picked up the towel and served. So as His followers, we are all looking for our place to serve. During March Madness" we'd like to help you find a place to serve at West Towne. Serving is a way of thanking God for life, blessings, salvation, heaven, everything He has done for us. Serving connects us with brothers and sisters in Christ, as we grow together to be like Him. It is a good feeling to be used by God to meet the needs of others and show them the love of Christ. If you haven't yet found a place to serve at West Towne, we hope during March Madness you ll join a team that s serving. Give it a try. You'll learn, and laugh, and probably sweat or strain or feel tired. That's serving. When I've done my best, I may look forward and say, "I need to rest." But I never look back and say, "I wish I didn't do that." No, it always feels good to have given my best for Christ. So my encouragement is, go for it! Sign up to serve!
