Welcome to Worship! We re glad you re here! PLEASE SILENCE electronic devices BEFORE entering the sanctuary for worship. Thank you! Parents, the sound of your children is one of the most beautiful sounds in the world. It is a sound that glorifies God in the sanctuary, and joins with the praise of all creation. Children are always welcome to stay in the worship service. If however, you need a break, we offer a large, staffed nursery located off the hallway adjacent to the Welcome area. * DECEMBER CONNECTIONS ~ If you are visiting today, WELCOME! Please take a guest s copy of our monthly Connections newsletter, available on the table in the middle of the Welcome area. *CANTATA The Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Senior Choir sang with select choirs from around the country at Carnegie Hall on Sunday, November 18. They performed the world premiere of composer/conductor Pepper Choplin's Christmas Presence which will be performed today at PoP. ENJOY!!!! *Indicates new or revised information this week *THE POP CHOIR would like to thank you for your tremendous support to help send us to Carnegie Hall. Throughout the year you participated in our fund raisers, gave donations, attended the concert at Carnegie Hall and offered your enthusiastic best wishes. We had a fantastic time in NYC. We had 2 days of rehearsals with 9 choirs from around the US and Canada that made up the 250 voice mass choir. Pepper Choplin, the composer and director, led the rehearsals and gave us tips to bring more passion to our singing. Experiencing the love for God through his music and his humor brought us all closer together. In our free time we enjoyed various sites and restaurants in NYC. The highlight of the trip was singing on the stage at Carnegie Hall. It was a once in a lifetime experience that we will always remember! POINSETTIA orders total is 34 plants! Today (12/9) is last day to place an order. Our minimum number is 55 plants, for which the church is responsible. THANK YOU for helping! Ann

CHRISTMAS COOKIES FOR THE ILL AND HOMEBOUND- DECEMBER 9 TH We will be assembling tins of Christmas cookies again this year to support our folks who can t get to church much anymore and raise their spirits during this Christmas season. It really means a lot to them to know they are not forgotten. And they love the homemade cookies that remind them of their past Christmases. So, if you would like to be a part of this ministry, please bring in a couple dozen cookies to the kitchen on Sunday December 9 th. We will be assembling after the second service in the kitchen. If you would like to help with putting the tins together, or help with delivering the cookies, please let JoAnn Koenig or Ann Crivello know. We have several to deliver and could really use help in delivering. Thank you in advance for your support.
