To register, please fill out a registration card available in the church vestibule, the pews or at the parish office.

Dear Friends, The rhythm of the new year is slowly finding its regular pulse! Parish meetings and programs are well underway. The Choir school has begun its second semester and our Harvard students are returning and sharpening their pencils (or better, charging their phones ) in anticipation of the work ahead. I hope that last week s first real brush with New England snow didn t cause too much difficulty for anyone! I d like to remind you of the invitation to join with me for a Parish Town Meeting on Sunday, January 22 at 1:00pm in DiGiovanni Hall. This third such gathering since my arrival here at St. Paul s will afford me the opportunity to update you on several initiatives and developments, as well as to dialogue with you about your own insights and input about our life together. Once again, if you are not able to attend the meeting, you would be most welcome to send me an e-mail with any questions or comments. I m sure that we will have the chance to speak about the Disciples in Mission process at the Town Meeting, but this is a reminder that all parishioners are invited to a day long work shop presented by the Evangelization Team of the Archdiocese. It will take place on Saturday, February 25 from early morning until later afternoon (final times being confirmed) at St. Patrick s in Watertown. You can register directly at the website (noted in this bulletin) or through Nancy in our parish office. Work on the ceiling lights in the Church will re-commence this week, a project that should take four to six weeks. We also have to replace the lock fixture on one of the main doors of the church. (It is still unclear if this is from wear and tear or the attempt of someone to break into the church). These repairs are necessary but costly. More on our finances soon! With the new year, I d like to issue a call again for help with various liturgical ministries. We could sure use more help with lectors, extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist, greeters, servers, and leaders at the 9:30am Mass. Please speak with one of the priests or with Nancy in the front office if you might be able to assist in this way. We enter once again into the Ordinary Time of the church s liturgical year. With that, we approach every day, every moment with eyes open to the presence and glory of Almighty God. God bless, Fr. Kelly SECOND SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME FORMING DISCIPLES IN MISSION WORKSHOP All parishioners interested in our parishes involvement in The Disciples in Mission process are invited to attend a workshop on Saturday, February 25. It will take place at St. Patrick Parish in Watertown. Though a final schedule will be announced, the day will run approximately from 8:00am to 4:00pm. With questions regarding registration, please contact Nancy in the Parish Office by Wednesday, February 1 or register directly at http:// disciplesinmission.com/formingdisciples PARISH OFFICE CLOSED: MONDAY, JANUARY 16 Parish offices will be closed on Monday, January 16 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Kelly s Parish Town Meeting. The meeting will give Fr. Kelly a chance to update you on several items and to solicit your input on others. We will finish no later than 2:15pm. See you there!
