HISTORY OF WABERI DISTRICT Waberi district was geometrically measured by Italian Governorgeneral of Mogadishu Enrico Anzilotti on May 24, 1957 to 1958 and he supported more the district of officials financially and politically, on 3th october,1945 was the base of Somali Independence Movement, about when the war of stone throwing/casting (Dhagahtur) and now the Dhagah tur tower, SYL tower are still one of the Waberi symbols of the Independence of Somalia, what is more interesting was that in 1957, long before the unification of former Italian Somaliland with former British Somaliland, the language of the country was at that time Italian and various parties of Africa in preparation for coming Independence, In Mogadishu Enrico Anzilotti the Italian Governor general of Mogadishu established political administrative people to promote Somali Independence and the Unification of Somalia Former Italian Somaliland with British Somaliland All in One As Somali Republic at time Somalia was a United Nations Trust Territory, But administered by the Italians, the Former Colonial Power
Cont. Enrico Anzilotti was a gentleman, who said the trusteeship arrangement gave him the Authority to veto any law of the Somali legislature. Anzilotti said I can veto any law that the Somalis pass. I have never vetoed one. I don t intend ever to veto one. It is their country. And until they are independent, I will sit here and watch them to run it.
