Over the last 12 years the Downline Institute has trained over 2600 men and women nationally with a biblical paradigm for living a Great Commission Lifestyle. Downline alumni are leading and serving in every sector of our community with a clearer vision and definition of disciple making along with the tools to live it out. This year, our annual Downline Summit was are largest yet. Tim Keller, Jared Wilson, Mark Dever, Trillia Newbell, Jeff Schulte and several others lead our teaching team and their com-prehensive message was dynamic! Nearly 2,000 men and women from all around the city and country were encouraged, equipped, and inspired to continue engaging in the mission of Christ. Globally, we took 12 trips to 12 different countries accompanied by 66 students and alumni training more than 1,000 international pastors and ministry leaders. Locally, 40 young professionals from around the country moved to Memphis to participate in the Emerging Leaders program, 35 of whom are remaining in Memphis where they are striving to shape the heart and culture of our city around the gospel.
WE RE ON A MISSION TO RESTORE BIBLICAL DISCIPLE-MAKING. Downline Ministries equips Christ-followers in and through the local church to make disciples in their homes, churches, and communities. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to elevating and strengthening disciple making in and through the local church. Half of our annual budget is funded from resource sales including The Downline Summit and tuition from the Downline Institute. The other half of our funding comes from private donations and special events. Your sponsorship of this years golf tournament will go directly towards the funding our mission to help equip disciples who make disciples in the church locally and abroad.
WHO ATTENDS THE TOURNAMENT? Participants will include representatives of the nonprofit and for profit sector including business owners, leaders, ministry leaders, and pastors. Many of our golfers and volunteers will be alumni and friends of alumni who are missionally minded and actively engaged in work throughout our city with a desire to see our city reach its full potential and believe strongly in investing deeply in the next generation in order to make that realization possible.
