LECTURE ONE LESSON ONE Introduction All over the world there is a common desire that is found in all human beings, irrespective of their colour, race, age, sex, creed or profession. that desire is the desire to be successful. However no one succeed by accident. every success story result from making a deliberate choice to succeed. this is then backed up by a discovery and continuous application of the relevant principles of success as found in scriptures for nothing functions without principles. Definition: Generally Success can be defined as follows: A. Having a favourable outcome B. To have things turned out as planned C. attaining a desired goal D. To receive result hoped for Success for believers centers from God: A. The continuous attainment of God's set goal B. The attainment of God's plan and purpose for an individual
Success is God's Plan for man Jer 29:11. This success plan of God is revealed to man gradually. it does so in stages one after the other till we get the perfect day. success at one step determines the next higher level until the ultimate is achieved Success is generally measured by most people in terms of the quality and quantity of material things one possesses. While this material things are good and often accompany success but they are not the true makers of success. otherwise many celebrated heroes of faith will amount to miserable failures while obvious crooks will be called successful. LESSON TWO The beginning of Success Success begins when an individual realises that he's born for a purpose Jer 1:5 no matter the circumstances of your birth, you must understand that your birth was nit accidental. If you were not born there will be a gap in history.
LESSON THREE Types of Success there are three types of success 1. Human Success 2. Satanic Success 3. Covenant/ Divine Success A. Human success : Human success is based on human principles, traditions and methods. the driving force for human success is self with little or no room for others and no regard for christian values. it only goes for what can be grabbed. it is characterised by much struggles mental exertion B. Satanic Success : this is based on evil principles completely contrary to God's words. here the way up is pulling others down as satan did Gen 3:1 15. it always result in disgrace. Esther 6:1 end. C. Covenant/ Divine Success: success based on God's principles and His words psalm 1 1 3 Joshua 1:8 it is totally driven by god's will. the target of divine success is the expansion of God's kingdom on earth it is a never ending success
LESSON FOUR Locate Success Success is not a native of any land. Success is available in any land and it is a function of what you know and applied. e.g Joseph Gen 41:39 Jacob Gen 30:37 39 Locating your Assignment everything created is a solution to a problem. the fact that we are born reveals that God saw a problem that can never be solved without you. your assignment to a person or to people e.g Moses assignment was to Istrealites and Aaron assignment is directly to Moses. your calling may be connected to your natural talent. what you enjoy and have comparative advantage doing may be an indication of God's plan and purpose for your life. What you can positively impact to others may be lead to your area of calling. your assignment will always interest you your assignment determines what you see

Book 2. Art 3. Act A. The Book: the first tool God delivered to Joshua for success was the book of the law which means the word of God. the book is our success security code that must be read. B. Diligence: After careful planning it required diligence Prov22:29 hard work does not kill, handwork refines. dignity is a product of diligence if you are not a friend of work you will loose your worth psalm 104:23 (if something is working there is someone working it)

Discipline: This is denying yourself the present pleasure in other to lay hold of future gain 1 cor 9:24 25 Areas to discipline include 1. Speech: control what comes out of your mouth 2. Time: control your time and don't waste your time 3. Money: control how you spend for every raining season will go and dry season will come 4. Appetite: control your appetite not everything you see you eat 5. This is why you need a team. what is a team? a team consist of two or more individuals bond together by a common goal.

LESSON EIGHT How to Finance your Dream Money is important in the excision of your dream for without it your dream may be grounded. Money offers a defence to your dreams Ecc 7:12 Guidelines to raise Money for your Dreams A. Plan to Save: when you have set some goals, it is wise to begin to put some money aside, to assist in the fulfillment of those goals B. Sell what you have: there is a gift God has deposited in everyone you can use your gift to make money or probably properties 2King 4:2 C. Discuss with people who believe in you and in your vision: D. Engage in fundamental law of prosperity: This is sowing into the life of people LESSON NINE Dealing With Oppositions every God given vision will definitely provoke a reaction from the Kingdom of darkness 1 cor 16:9
Guidelines Expect it 2 Cor 2:11 Before you commence pursuit build enough stamina prov 16:20 Learn to discern which opposition to neglect or to dismiss and which one to act upon Don't dwell on the pain of opposition Rather focus on the joy of accomplishment Heb 12:2 Always employ wisdom Make prayer your constant way of responding to every opposition Note: Every opposition is an evidence of your strong possition Determine not to loose your position to any opposition
