ANNUAL REPORT REMINDER Each year, both religious education and schools, complete a diocesan annual report. This report helps us to evaluate how parishes are operating in regards to diocesan policy, but also helps the Office of Catholic Formation understand what assistance is needed within the parishes. Every two years a longer, more in depth, survey is taken of the parishes. This longer survey was completed last catechetical year. The full report will be available to the parishes at the Fall Conference on October 27. A shorter survey will be conducted this coming catechetical year. The survey will be distributed in September with a due date of November 1.

TOTUS TUUS (Latin for Totally Yours) is a fun and energetic parish based summer catechetical program, with components for elementary age children as well as junior high and high school age youth. Each Totus Tuus team consists of male and female team members between the ages of 18-25 who are typically discerning priesthood or religious life. Their youthfulness, energy, and ability to witness to the Catholic Faith make our teachers particularly effective with children and young people. The team serves for a week in each parish. They present a grade school program (grades 1-6) during the day, Monday- Friday from 9:30am-2:30pm and an evening program Sunday-Thursday (high school and junior high youth) from 7:30pm- 9:30pm. The goal of Totus Tuus is to put youth in contact with the Lord so that they can develop a deep personal relationship with Him. The day program is spent on catechetical instruction, songs, games, daily Mass, the opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, lunch, recess and more! The focus is on imparting an understanding and love of the Eucharist, devotion to Mary, catechetical instruction, vocational discernment, and providing an enjoyable experience. The team also enjoys getting to know the parish and its members. In order to do this, they stay with families of the parish, eat with different families throughout the week and invite the entire parish to a "potluck" dinner. TOTUS TUUS has been successful in reaching out to children and youth in order to help them know and love the Lord Jesus Christ. This program provides a fun and strong catechetical program, which is easy to implement and models relationship with Christ in a very personal and practical way. The cost to bring the Totus Tuus program to your parish is $2,000. Reservation will be on a first come first serve basis. The program will be offered: June 10-15, June 17-22, June 24-29, July 8-13, July 15-20, and July 22 27. If your parish is interested in the Totus Tuus program please complete the form below and return it to us by mail or email.
