Letter From Father Mario Dear Parishioners, We stand at a great moment in the history of St. Philip Neri-Blessed Sacrament. As a parish, we have embarked on a special venture to update our facilities and put ourselves into a strong position for the future. Our facilities have served this parish well. Yet, time and the elements have taken their toll and we now have some maintenance challenges. Updating our facilities is our objective. Ensuring full access for every parishioner is our goal. Now is the time. Acting together as one parish family, we will ensure that St. Philip Neri-Blessed Sacrament is prepared to serve this family now and to meet the challenges of the future. I am very pleased with the number of parishioners who have served on our campaign teams. Their effort, vision and commitment is inspirational to all. Our campaign theme Growing Together Faith, Family, Future beautifully reflects our unique history and promise for a great future! Please take a few minutes to read this brochure and review the latest details about our facility plans and the campaign as a whole. Spend time in prayer alone or with other family members and discuss with them how you can make a sacrificial gift over the next three years. I invite you to join me in bringing your pledge card to Mass on Commitment Weekend, December 8-9, 2018. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 The success of this campaign will require the participation of each of our parish families. I believe this can be a great defining moment of who we are as a parish. Our parish families have had a history of great generosity and great faith. United in this faith, we will secure the sacred mission of the Catholic Church here at St. Philip Neri-Blessed Sacrament. God Bless You, Fr. Mario Rapose Campaign Steering Committee 2 Commitment Weekend

From Your Steering Committee Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Thank you for your prayerful consideration in support of our St. Philip Neri-Blessed Sacrament Capital Campaign. Ours is a parish truly Growing Together in Christ. On a daily basis we celebrate community and share our faith journey. We have shared much together - sacraments and celebrations. We ve tearfully said goodbye to those who have passed away and we ve openly welcomed new parishioners as family. But with our facility limitations, now is the time to plan for the future. In consulting with architects and construction professionals, our Facilities Team estimates repairs, updates and renovations to cost between $1.2 - $1.35 million. To reach this goal, we need your spiritual and financial support. We are the beneficiaries of those who have gone before us in the faith. Now, we are called to secure the future. As a parish family, raising $1.2 million is our challenge. Preserving God s church and kingdom here at St. Philip Neri-Blessed Sacrament will be our legacy. Please join us as we continue Growing Together in Faith, as Family, for our Future. Our Campaign Goal Our goal is to renovate and update our church and parish center, enabling us the ability to continue our pilgrimage of faith and worship as one community bound together by the Holy Spirit. We will achieve this by: Asking every parish family to participate in the campaign by prayerfully considering a sacrificial gift of 3% to 5% of their annual income for each year of the campaign or, if retired, 3% to 5% of their assets over three years. This is in addition to regular stewardship giving. Raising $1.2 - $1.35 million toward the completion of the Church and Parish Center Levels of the Master Plan. Mario Rapose We love the small town feeling here at St. Philip Neri-Blessed Sacrament. Tracy grew up in St. Phil s and when we moved back to the Omaha area in 2015 everyone was so welcoming. God has a plan for us and we see it more clearly as part of this parish. We re excited to help the parish grow and prosper. We have found our home. Decision To Give How much should I give to the Capital Campaign? Each family is asked to prayerfully consider pledging 3% to 5% of their annual income for each of the 3 years of the campaign over and above their regular Sunday giving to the church. For those on a fixed income, we ask that you prayerfully consider giving 3% to 5% of your household assets, either as a lump sum gift or spread over three years. Please remember: All pledges, no matter the amount are welcomed and all sacrifice is equal in the eyes of God. The charts below show how your commitment can be fulfilled annually, monthly or weekly. Recall all the blessings God has given you, not only for your personal use, but to build the Kingdom of God on earth. Pray to discern what sacrificial gift God is asking you to commit to this capital campaign. Discuss your participation and sacrifice with all members of your family as to what it will mean to you over the next three years. Bear in mind that every gift, regardless of amount, will be an important contribution to the capital campaign. We love the sense of family, community and commitment in this parish. Having grown up in St. Philip Neri, it s special for us to watch our children receive the sacraments here with their St. Philip Neri-Blessed Sacrament family. We ve seen first-hand how dedicated people are to this parish and to each other.
