Dear Parishioners, Even during these hot days of summer, this is a great me for many families and friends to gather for barbeques, picnics and parades celebra ng Independence Day! The 4 th of July is our annual celebra on to commemorate the courage and faith of the extraordinary leaders who worked to unite a young na on. I hope that you enjoy this special day! During these hot days, members of our St. Vincent De Paul Society have been working to provide assistance to families who are in special need. Their ministry is the bridge that connects the Gospel to the needs of God s people. There is a special envelope in our packet of envelopes each month for those who would like to support the St. Vincent De Paul Society. There are also envelopes in the pews. If anyone is interested in joining the St. Vincent De Paul Society, please consult the parish calendar for mee ng days, mes and loca on. On another note, thanks to everyone who helped to support our annual Rummage Sale. It was a huge success! Special thanks to all who served on the Commi ee. Thanks to everyone who donated items, purchased raffle ckets, donated items for the bake sale, volunteered to help organize and price the dona ons, helped to work the event and all who helped with cleaning up. Many parishioners helped to make this a really successful event. A grand total of $21,511.02 was donated from the Commi ee which will be used to support many valuable ministries in our parish. Thank you to all who supported this endeavor. The date for next year s Rummage Sale has been set for Friday, June 21 st, Saturday, June 22 nd and Sunday, June 23 rd. Please mark your 2019 calendars early for this great event! On a final note, I extend a very warm welcome to our newly assigned senior associate pastor: Msgr. Mike Dieckmann!
