Editor Notes We recently celebrated Veterans Day which happens on 11 th Month, 11 th day and it is also the address of our Grand Lodge: Grand Lodge of California, 1111 California Street, San Francisco, CA 94108. The 1111 meaning is 11 th Month and 11 th Day and this year Veterans Day fell on Sunday, November 11, 2018. Here is just one of the many reasons November 11 th is important. And now onward to Xmas Day, Nooooooo, onward to Holidays, Noooooooooooooooooo, onward to Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all and tip my bottle, my cup of Moonshine, wow, my cup of Makers Mark to all. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to One and All. Please remember Christmas is a Family celebration when we get together to eat, talk, and eat but more important Christmas is the celebration of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for our sins. May the Blessings of Heaven Rest Upon You and all your Loves Ones. And look at this, you got this far in reading the Sword and Trowel and no mention of Council and you thought you had it made. The reason I write about Council but more importantly York Rite in general is I love and respect these degrees and the people who wrote them. But also, important, I can write a bunch of bull-shit because no one reads the Sword and Trowel. November, December, January, and February are for elections and installations. It is that time of the year we elevate our non-certified Illustrious Masters and Officers to their stations. I wish to publish pictures of your installation, if you would be so kind as to send me pictures, they will be published in the Sword and Trowel and Encompasser.
